[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Owned this rotary hammer for several years, and it still runs as well as it always has. The dials for speed adjustment or mode of operation are still smooth to change. The rubber housing and overall condition of the hammer has held up incredibly well after several years of abuse. I love how long the power cord is, considering most tools have ~2’ power cords. The secondary handle adjusts easily and isn’t affected by dust. I wanted a middle of the road rotary hammer for all my DIY work that would perform beyond my needs without breaking the bank. This was the perfect choice, I’d buy it all over again.

Bosch knows that there is a problem with the electrical circuit in this tool( armature). Why has it not been recalled? We need to go back to the 11240.

A great tool for handling medium to small jobs. Not too heavy. An adapter is extra if you need lower grade bits. If you're on the road to geezerly, it fits the bill perfectly

This did the job with more in the tank. But I wish it was lighter. Overhead work sucks

Had for less then 1 year. Use as a backup when other drills are being used for big jobs. Started smoking and quit working. Left me in a bind on a jobsite. Wouldn't recommend. I use a Hilti everyday and never have any problems.

Had to replace my 18 year old Bosch hammer with this one. SDS Max bit compatible and seems to work just fine. The old Bosch was made in Germany this new one is made in China..... so we will see if it goes the distance. Bosch hammers are known in the trade for their reliability and longevity.
