This tool works well. It makes the spacing between boards simple and I like the attachment system. It makes it possible to remove a board after the deck is installed and yet the fasteners are hidden. If you're installing a hardwood like IPE you will need to pre-drill. The only problem I had was once or twice I forgot to pre-drill a hole and stripped the screw which is a real pain to remedy.

Simple and reasonably priced product. Easy to use and when I called the manufacturer with a question an actual human picked up and even had an answer with an explanation! Our deck looks great and it didn't break the bank to make or require irritating clips to make a fastener-free surface. The camo screws are just as easy to remove and quite clever unto themselves. I highly recommend this product. However, it is important to know that there is a separate jig for only fastening in one side of a board (next to a wall).

It worked great. There was not even one bad screw installation in over 1000 screws. I used pressure treated deck boards and the deck looks great.

It sped things up. Also, it never seemed necessary to pre drill. Didn't have to worry about how straight the screws were running down the joists because, hey you can't see them.

i wouldn't do decking with out it. i wanted my deck to look screwless and this did it with ease. This also spaced the decking perfect. Would highly recommend to anyone doing a deck, without a second thought.

I used this after i built a big backdeck using traditional composite decking hidden fasteners. It was wobbly so i found this on HD. I wish i found it from get go. It literally took hours instead of days to redo the whole deck and the result is a solid sturdy deck

This made it very easy and accurate to hide the screws in my decking.

Easy to use Works as intended

This tool helped immensely in the installation of our new Trex decking. It allows you to easily line up the boards, with consistent spacing, and screw them on the sides for no screw holes on the deck. A friend who used the Trax rail system on his deck was so impressed and wished he had done his deck with the Camo.

I could not get it to work with the composite decking.

This tool is awesome... Only one problem, I wish I had this tool 2 decades ago. I used it with pressure treated Doug Fir and had no issues with the tool just the operator who handled it. Just make sure it is pressed down all the way and your good to go.

Does not stay to the width of board - no matter how much you tighten it

One of the best purchases I've made. Great product, works great. Results are impressive. Cost for screws is great. Less than regular deck screws. Results are fantastic.

Great tool works as advertised

Great design. I wish I had thought of it. I used it to screw down a 14 x 21 deck made of Trex. Over 1100 screws and it performed beautifully. My only suggestion is that every few screws shake the tool or tap it on the deck to remove the decking debris that can build up in the tool and cause it to not sit flush on the deck. Small price to pay for a hidden screw system. Great product overall.

Best way to secure decking.

GreT product and excellent quality. It worked exactly as it was advertised and we love how well the deck looks without all those screws or nails showing. Highly recommend.
