It functions as far as turning the heater off and on, but there is an annoyingly loud buzzing sound for a few minutes before the heater kicks on and about 5 min after it turns off.

I bought this thermostat for my new golf studio. I needed it to be able to turn on and off the cadet heaters I installed. I made a mistake and didn't notice it only turned down to 50 degrees. When I went out the the building and went in, I noticed the heaters still running ever though I turned it all the way down. Oops! On my wat back to Home Depot to get the model with the turn-off mode. Don't get me wrong, this is a great little thermostat, it just doesn't work for my situation.

I have two 8Ft baseboards on the same thermostat. It needs to handle a lot more current than most (i.e. 22 amp). None of the digital thermostats last long (even if rated at high amps). But these go for years. Simple & it works!

I’ve had several “intelligent” thermostats. I appreciate this simple device, just turn the knob when you want warmer air. No programming, no fuss. Excellent device.
