Had this happen to me. My old white wire was attached to the "W" terminal so I wired this one up the same. Finally had to call a heat pump guy and even he had to call a friend because he thought it appeared to be wired up correctly also. Finally figured out the white wire had to hooked up to the W2 terminal. This fixed the problem. Hope this helps.

Danielle, I was having the same problem with my thermostat when I installed it. What i found is that i believe there is a 2 degree difference between the temperature settings on the thermostat. In my case when I wanted to set my thermostat to 72 degrees, I found when then inside temperature reached 72 degrees the ac continued to run. But if i set my thermostat to 74 degrees when the inside temperature reached 74 degrees the ac would shut off as it was supposed to. So try setting your thermostat up by 2 degrees and see if that solves your problem
The large number on display screen is the actual room temperature the small number above that is your temperature setting example if your room temperature is 75° and you want your room to be 80° you need to press the plus button until that small number goes up to 80 degrees then the heat will come on approximately after a minute or before heat will come on but if you're setting is at 75 and your room temperature is at 75 degrees heat will not come on until room temperature go below 75 degrees then it will come on
Yes
