Good enough for me
This JD only for openers that have a learn button. Programming was not as simple as the book made it seem but that’s probably because I have an older garage door opener and I also had never programmed a remote before. It took about fifteen minutes to figure out and program two remotes.

Worked instantly.
Be sure to read the programming instructions all the way through BEFORE programming. Reading one instruction, then trying to follow it before going on to the next may result in failure (but its easy to recover and get it right).

Easy to program
Ordered two one for each vehicle. Nice compact remote, easily programmable, but the range is no where near the advertised "Extreme 800-ft. range for immediate access." Have to get right in front of the garage door before it will open.

The opener was really easy to program. It only took a few minutes and was compatible with my older craftsman garage door opener.

Poor quality
This is the second one I’ve purchased and they absolutely suck. It works on the first click ~5-10% of the time. I almost always have to get out of my truck and walk all the way up to garage, clicking it multiple times before it works. This is programmed to their own brand of openers. I couldn’t recommend this to anyone, even at its price point.

Eugene pulling up to the garage, this unit doesn’t work from inside the car. I have to get out and walk up to the door to get it to work.
