One star is not for quality of product rather quality of shipping I had an order containing two of these and received 2 separate boxes. The issue is one box contain one bracket and the second box which was much smaller contained no items so i was shorted one bracket. Home Depot owes me one bracket. Until then i cant complete my project.

Perfect fit for our basement storage / the whole system goes up easy and is reasonably priced except for the brackets.

Once I located the stud, I used a level to make sure my track is plumb. The track has pre-drilled holes, and I used 2 inch screws to secure the track to the stud. Installation was very easy!

Closet Maid shelves are nice to install in a closet. You can install them and configure the Closet the way you want to. I put in 2 recessed lights purchased from HD and Aromatic Cedar Closet Planks, both of which you can get at Home Depot. The Cedar is in the same isle as the Closet Maid products. The Aromatic Cedar is grown and processed in the USA and is better quality than the less expensive Imported Cedar. I once accidentally purchased the Imported Cedar and the quality was so poor I had to return all 5 packages.

This style is so easy to install I will never buy a different type of shelving ever again!

I have used this particular product in many different locations in my own home as well as for clients. I have found it to be very versatile and sturdy. I recommend utilizing wall studs whenever possible for attachment of the upright tracks.

Easy installation and great shelf strength for 14 feet of shelving.

I love the Closet Maid Shelf Track system. I have changed the height of the shelves several times since they were installed (very easy to adjust). We did hire a “handy person” to install it. We have had four closets organized using this system.

I used the ShelfTrack to make a shelf for my closet.

This product let me put up shelves in a condensed space while letting it still feel open. It is sturdy, convenient and easy to install. This piece to the shelf is extremely solid and will give you piece of mind that your shelves wont collapse. The only reason I gave it 4 stars instead of 5 is because It was a little pricey, but it added much needed storage space to my laundry room.

Love these. They made my job so easy with predrilled holes and many places to adjust the brackets. They are very strong come in different lengths depending on need. Turning them with the backside out made it easy to set level on before drilling holes in walls. Everything came out perfect

I didn't have to hunt down studs or drill a bunch of holes before I settled on where to put the shelves. I was able to hang the bars and then get creative. This was the easiest way to hang this kind of shelf.

These self tracks are working really well. I highly recommend it!!!!

The 84” standards help make this system virtually future proof. Once the hang track and standards are in place, many configurations are possible. I use 75 lb EZ Anchors with #8 2” screws for securing standards to the wall because of the added depth. Seems I rarely hit a stud. Shelves extend about 1” beyond their depth due to how they attach to the bracket and depth of the standard. For example, the front of my 12” shelf is actually 13” from the wall. I’m doing all my closets, and it’s a big improvement.

It all worked as planned. Met my needs and is sturdy. Hallway closet is less cluttered and holds more.

I started to run a small business out of my home which required a lot of supply space for a lot of random items in all kinds of shapes and sizes, but I didn't have much room. I had started with mounted shelves (which don't move and scared the walls) and craft shelves. I moved up to Ikea cubbies and bookshelves but found the shelving units took up more space than what I was trying to store and of course didn't move. I decided to try a ClosetMaid ShelfTrack system, I started with one system in one office on one wall. I was so happy I couldn't stop until almost all walls were converted in both offices. Once I got this shelving system up and running I invested in a couple styles of the clear storage boxes so I could easily stack and organize. I am not just organized but tidy to. Warning, it is addicting. Important note: Just put up the support brackets at the minimum recommended lengths, I tried to short out a couple because of what I thought would be light weight items but in the end I had to take down all the shelves so I could add in the recommended additional support brackets. Without the recommended number of shelve supports any weight will cause the shelves to sag but once the right amount is there, they are beautiful. Additional tip: I found with a good drill bit I was able to put holes in the hanger bar where ever there was a stud in the wall so I did not have to mess with toggle bolts. I was able to easily mount the tracks to the walls at each stud, creating very sturdy mounting. It is easy to install these, just a little time consuming. I am a shorter woman and was able to install these entirely by myself with a short ladder. It gets easier once you get started.

The ClosetMaid ShelfTrack system made upgrading and installing our closet very easy. It allowed us to customize what we needed for day to day functionality and what would reasonably fit in our space. I LOVE my new, organized closet!! Only criticism would be that without some pre-planning and online video viewing, you will not be able to decipher what you need for this project. The display and instructions in store leave much to be desired.

I was looking to build a shoes rack and it was the best ideal to pick up the shelftrack and all my shoes fit perfectly thank u

The shelving for pantry went up very well. and looks great.

Easy to install and looks good. I used it at home a couple of years ago then used it for my restaurant last week.

Really easy to install. I like the fact that this track is movable -- it fit onto a horizontal track and can be slid into whatever position you want. I needed to install some sort of bin on an inside patio wall below my mailbox slot to catch the mail. I settled on closet organizers (see photo). This system allowed me to not only catch my incoming mail, but also use additional baskets for other things.
