This stuff worked great!

Bought because using the company’s grout was painful in terms of getting excess grout off the tiles. Even their latest videos strongly recommend the use of a release. It did make the job somewhat easier but I still found the excess grout difficult to remove Using the remover per directions and letting it dry I was surprised at how slippery the tiles remained -Slipping hazard that requires some caution when not on hands and knees. I washed the tiles numerous times during the cleanup and got the grout up but not all the grout release. Still had a greasy feel. Hard rubbing required for removal. Finally decided to use rotary scrubbing pads on a drill to finally clean tiles. Next grout job I’ll use more conventional grout.

If you are using Fusion grout with stone mosiac tile, save yourself the cost of CBP grout release, because it doesn't really help with your grout cleanup. I tried the Fusion grout on a small area of the wall where the stone tile was applied and WAY too much fun cleaning the excess grout off. I purchased the CBP grout release and tried applying it per the directions prior to grouting the rest of the walls, and the grout release didn't make cleanup significantly easier. I think this may be more a matter of the Fusion grout formulation than CBP's grout release, but Fusion recommends applying a grout release prior to grouting, and a brand other than CBP might work "better", but the CBP Aqua Mix Grout Release wasn't useful.

We tried it on real 1/2 natural brick flooring. Didn’t work as well as the grout cleaner. Too porous I guess. WR

Used this product to coat mosaic tiles and large flooring tiles prior to grouting. Seemed to work well to minimize grout sticking to the tile, and also hazing. Easy to apply, cleans up quickly with water and clean microfiber cloth. I would recommend this to a friend.

I couldn't tell that this grout release did any good. I used Fusion grout and it was a nightmare to get off. I probably won't use Fusion again.

Grout still flashed on cement tile even with 3 heavy applications of this grout release.

An absolute game-changer for easy grouting. 100% difference for job ease than without it. Recommend 2 coats if longer than 2-3 days before cleaning off the haze. Their haze remover product is also 5-star...I couldn't believe how well the 2 products worked together.

I used this on a backsplash consisting of natural stone mesh backed tiles. Because it was natural stone I was worried about how tightly the non-sanded grout might stick. I first tested the grout application on 2 samples, one with Grout Release applied, and one without. This product worked very well - the grout came off the tile very easily on the sample with Grout Release and was noticeably harder to come off the other sample. I did not detect any altering of color etc. If you are using a shiny glazed tile, perhaps you don't need this. But if your tile is natural stone or somewhat porous, this product will probably help you out a lot. I found applying it with a paint roller (semi-smooth surface nap) worked best.
