I love it. No more leaking water.

Easy to install and works perfect. To use is easy also. Just pull down the outer ring at the end of the spout and it closes off the flow, starting ther shower head.

When my original DANCO started leaking at the diverter so badly we couldn't shower, my wife "encouraged" me to get a replacement. After "kicking the tires" online, I made an impulse decision at the store and selected this one because the diverter looks like it won't leak (unlike the slide door on the pull-knob spouts) and it has a bigger body that I need to cover an offset hole in the tile. The body is chrome plated metal and is approx 3" wide which worked well to cover the offset hole in the tile for my installation. The pull down diverter has a fairly strong spring to keep it up, but it did completely divert water to the shower head when I activated it. I deducted one star because the packaging is completely unhelpful with the different installations available. (It installs like the other DANCO spouts.) Once you get into the package the instructions and installation variations are clear and easy to follow and includes teflon tape. Here are the four types of installations: A. 1/2" copper slip-on (2-3" stub out) (My stub out was 1 5/8" and I was able to make it work. It was just tight getting the slip on adapter screwed into the extension nipple.) B. 1/2" copper threaded (1/2-3/4" stub out) C. 1/2" copper long threaded (4" stub out) D. 3/4" copper threaded (1/2-3/4" stub out) The only thing I did different was to wrap the spout in blue painters tape before installation to make clean up easier after I caulked around it. I think you will want to add caulk to your project list because the body is so big any slight alignment problems with your stub out will create gaps. So far so good.

This diverter is not susceptible to the gasket to metal wear like 95% of all the other diverters out there. Most diverters leak because the metal gets pitted over time and cuts the gasket when operated. This one does not have this issue.

Beautiful and updated design, this tub faucet with pull down shower spout looks great in my bathroom and provides a much more streamlined look. The options with a lift-up knob are tacky and look cheap in my opinion. This one feel expensive and fit my tub/shower combo perfectly. I used it on a pipe coming out of the wall, but I believe it can also be used as a slip-on cover. Don't hesitate, buy it. You won't regret it!

The Tub Spout fit perfectly. It is convenient to pull down the mechanism in order to divert the water up to the shower.

Great item threaded on easy with Teflon tape, no leaks and diverter works great. Super challenging to remove old tub spout without breaking the copper.

It was easy to install. It is metal and reasonably priced. Works as expected.

Literally made to fail and as seen in the Q and A, has no replaceable parts. They want you to throw it away and buy another. Absolutely criminal business practice. Lasted 5 years on the dot and now no longer diverts water. Buy something better!

Seemed good quality and solid build.

I was in an emergency to find a quick replacement and found this available. The first time I installed it, it leaked. I kept trying various ways and it kept leaking. I found a YouTube video and the guy made a point about the set screw. There was no way you were going to drive it through plastic and he was right. I ended up using a drill. Even with a hole in place it was very difficult to turn the screw. I had to slide the entire assembly on with a chance of tearing the O ring. I eventually got it on. The experience installing this tub faucet was not good since I had to deal with water damage from the leak. Other than that, it looks good and it works now.

I like that it retract back to tub flow when you turn off shower. Easy to install

Replaced 3 times last 2 years. Diverter became stuck after 7-9 months or so. Maybe water too hard no idea why. When new works fine.

Dont waste your money on this product that won't last more than a few months

It works. Just not enough pressure like the previous one.
