This is a good quality sealing tape, feels thicker and is easier to work with than the cheaper ones i've used in the past, and I end up using less.
To the people commenting that it's better than chinese made tape, hate to break it to you but this tape is also made in china. Plenty of good quality stuff comes from there, and here too, cheap stuff from anywhere, china, here, and other places is gonna be, drum-roll please, you guessed it: cheap!
Anyway, I think it's worth the extra cost.

Worked Better Than Compound
I had a very very slow drip on just one connection after replacing all of the PVC on my pool filtration system. I disassembled the single slow drip connection twice and reapplied thread compound. The slow drip continued. I wrapped the threads with three layers of this tape and tightened the connection 2 full turns past hand tightened. Finally, no more drip.

Thick & Nice to Work With
Found this USA manufactured tape to be a nice upgrade from from the rolls of Chinese tape they pile in those bins.
This stuff is thick, dense and and a cinch to install, especially when used on coarse threading such as NPT (National Pipe Taper) and is a wonderful alternative to messy, "pipe-dope".
Well worth the extra buck or so over the cheap stuff! :)
