Bought this tool because I wanted a tool that was close in performance / greater in performance to a corded saw. Exceed my expectations! This thing is a beast and the battery lasts an impressively long time! I was fully aware that the tool ( & battery) would be heavier than some of the other options when I bought it, but was willing to sacrifice weight for performance, and am very happy that I did. Overall, excellent tool!

The assembly instructions did not show how to install a circular saw blade on this particular saw.

As someone who uses a circular saw occasionally for projects around the house I had always used a plug in unit with what I thought was good power. The 60volt DEWALT is more powerful than my 13amp plug in saw, is much more quiet and the 9amp battery still has a full charge after roughly 60 or 70 cuts including ripping a couple 8 foot 2x4s. Very happy.

Hubby loves the circular saw bundle I gave him for Christmas. Dewalt is a great product.

after 3 uses this has been an awesome saw, battery sometimes is heavy, but i want that extra power.

Home Depot seems to offer more options of different models and different tool combinations at a better price than other places. This particular model is a huge amount of value per dollar!

Im a professional carpenter and ive been using the 60v rear handle (worm drive) saw for a couple of years now and absolutely love it, so i thought this saw would be a good, lightweight alternative when i didnt need the power of my “big saw.” I was wrong. Im sure its just a personal issue, but after using worm drive saws for so many years, im so used to looking down the left side of the saw to watch my blade while making cuts, that i found it nearly impossible to use this saw since you have to peer down the right side to see the blade. Dont get me wrong, the saw has plenty of power and im sure it would be great for anyone used to using a classic, DIY-type circ saw, but im too old to try and change my ways, so im returning mine.

I was going to buy the flexvolt advantage, tool only, for $169, but it would cost another $200 for a flexvolt battery, and with all the reviews I've seen the 60v flexvolt saw far outperformed all other saws by far, including the flexvolt advantage. I think I got a really great deal buying the flexvolt saw, including the bag, battery, and charger for only $269. I absolutely love this thing and I think it's the best saw made today!
