Lots of power and torque, and great for getting into tight spots. Minus one star because I wish it had adjustable torque settings for driving screws, but still a great piece of kit!!

Surprising amount of torque! The drill has no problems driving nuts and bolts. The deep set hex receiver in the quick release chuck is genius. I have used this tool as a close quarter drill for running LED tape inside cabinets. I've used it as a low-profile driver to set retainer screws. A+

The drill works very well

This tool/kit is good for small jobs. For longer use a second battery is recommended. As to the torque, I was using it to drill 5/8" holes in 3 stacked together SPF 2×4. I found that the best was to pre-drill with Bosch Daredevil 1/2" spade bit and then drill the hole with 5/8" drill bit, any drill bit will work. I assume that 3/4" holes can also be drilled in SPF, 3 stacked 2×4. As to a stronger drill, perhaps, Milwakee Angle Drill would be the choice, or even more powerful drills.

This drill has plenty of power and is well balanced for use in tight spaces. I think this is the best right angle drill on the market right now. I think it is better to get the kit as it comes with a very nice case.

DCD740C1 20V MAX* LITHIUM ION 3/8" RIGHT ANGLE DRILL/DRIVER KIT (1.5 AH) is a nice right angle drill for close quarters drilling. However it is under powered to use as a plumbing water pipe bit drill ( 1 1/4 inch ) I really like the drill, but I'm going to kill it drilling holes for plumbing water pipe. What I would like to see is a 1/2 chuck version of this drill, two speeds, about the same size, and more power. Might be able to use the same motor geared lower with a 1/2 chuck. I don't think a clutch is necessary. Does Dewalt make a 20VMAX drill like this?

Everything about this drill is good except that it is limited when it comes to tighter spaces. It does not look as big as it actually is.

Killer product. I bought the giant battery they sell for making this tool really drive Simpson Strong Tie bolts. I’m double-studding floor joists with this on a 1913 wreck of a house I bought. You may buy this without the small battery/without the case. Get the $200 battery for this.

Easy to use, reliable, battery recharges in about 30 min. Am very satisfied with this purchase.
