Answer This Question
A: Hello Untitled,
Thank you for your contact. We apologize for any trouble or inconvenience in finding information. Do not operate power tools in explosive atmospheres, such as in the presence of
flammable liquids, gases, or dust. Power tools create sparks which may ignite the dust
or fumes. If there are continuing issues, please contact DEWALT customer service so that we may work together towards a resolution.

A: Many DeWalt products are made or assembled in US, North or SouthCarolina, I believe. Saw that on TV show "How Its Made", showed mostly drills and impact drivers being built. However, my recently bought DCD740C1 (right angle drill/driver) was international: tool made in Mexico, Charger in China or Thailand, tool bag in China. On TV show, they made even the motors in US, wound wire around armature and all. I don't recall what they said about electronics, other parts, so maybe some is imported. That's the way it works these days of globalization. Give DeWalt credit for building a big plant in US, employing hundreds of people. I have lots of other drills etc from them, but don't have the boxes to look at for "made in" info.

A: I ordered mine online and had it shipped (free) to my store in Wichita Falls. I couldn't find one anywhere close by even in the DFW area. But it only took a couple of days to get it. Hope this helps.
