Works great as long as set up properly with functioning battery. Battery strength should be checked regularly. Remaining battery strength shows on screen.

This is a great little timer. Easy to set up and use. The only problem I encountered was that i bought two of them and when I got home, one of the units was missing its battery connection. I can probably take it back and get it replaced, but it is just a hassle. Point is make sure to check each piece including the battery compartment before leaving the store. Lesson learned for me.

The timer on this failed and was watering the plants incessantly. I noticed because my water bill went from $30 monthly to $150. I checked the unit multiple times - the digital screen appeared to be watering one the specified days and times I’d set. I insisted to the utility company that it was their error. Then another $150 bill with insane usage bill came. I was at the property on a day that the unit was not scheduled to water and noticed puddles from non stop watering which is when I identified the error. Home Depot swapped it out for a new one and it’s functioning fine. If I hadn’t invested in the back flow, filter etc for this particular unit I would have preferred to switch to a more analog device. I used this unit for a year and a half.

Bought a unit, hooked it up. No solenoid action. Returned for the same unit, still nothing wrong. I assumed I screwed something up, got on customer service and confirmed the unit was malfunctioning. Went with an orbit and I was up immediately. Just doesn't work!

I have used these timers for years. I have to reacquaint myself with the programming direction each time but they work well. I have five hooked up to a manifold I built and one on a “Y” valve. It’s a little difficult changing the battery and I have to cover the valves when it rains.

Works well. Easy to set up. I had to replace the first one I had, due to the hard water we have here. It stayed open. Lasted about 3 years

This water timer fit my needs perfectly,easy to hook up and easy to program.Love the manual waterering at the push of a button as well.Great product,definitely would recommend to anyone wanting to step up their watering.

This is a workhorse in my gardens. Once planting is done the irrigation is automated and I can leave town with assurances vegetables and herbs will receive reliable, consistent irrigation. Easy for me to program, but I have been using them for 20+ years. I wish they were more durable; each year I have to replace at least one of the four I use. I never understand the cause of failure.

Nice unit, easy to program. The flip up cover protects the controls from the weather.

The part that screws onto the hose bib is only held on by a cheap metal clip. Of the three I bought, two came apart completely when the timer cut off the water. Returning all three. Do not use this if you're going to be away for any length of time.

Quick delivery, works as expected and easier to program than expected.

I have purchased several but the last one did not work as if it did not have enough power to cycle on and off. Interestly it was packaged differently and I wonder did they find someone else in China to make their new devices.
