This stuff works fantastic!

I'm very satisfied with the finish. I used to be able to get a more expensive product an dealer prices, but no longer have that option, so Deft is my new favorite.

I love using this product. I have tried other clear coat finishes and so for this one has given me the finish that I can appreciate.

have used this for years it is the only lacquer I will use on my woodworking projects , it sprays a finer mist than other brands so it lays a better finish on projects without runs if you don't get heavy handed.

Goes on easy, flows well and a beautiful glossy finish. I use it in my violin repair shop for Lacquer finishing. Awesome product.

I have used Deft for over 50 years. It’s a high quality lacquer. You won’t get much build-up without 5 or six coats but it beats getting your spray gun dirty for small jobs. Not for exterior but great for interior applications. Dries super fast for re-coating.

A really great finish for my woodturnings. I have tried numerous finishes over the years. However Deft clear finish is the one I go for when I want the perfect finish.

Leaves the perfect finish everytime. I use this on all of my small wood projects.

After putting on a mahogany stain completed the finish without any harm to the stain.

This is a great product for achieving a quick quality finish where you don't need the extra durability of a polyurethane finish.

I would recommend Deft to everyone. I am a woodworker for nearly all of my ninety years. However in the last 20 years I have been a member of the Texas Mesquite Assn.. They have prestigous Art Shows where I participated with fine furniture and other fine mesquite pieces of art. On all the things that I made I finished with Deft Gloss. It made a beautiful finish and brought out the beautiful grain and color of the mesquite wood. We called the mesquite "Texas Mahogany".

This stuff smells so bad...and the odor never leaves. No matter how long you "air it out.."

It sprays nice and even drys fast leaves a nice finish would recommend it

I liked the way it went on so easy and dried fast.

I see a lot of reviews complaining about coverage and sanding. First off this is old timey nitrocellulose. It works differently than what you might be used to. You may want to do a web search on how to use it. It needs to be sprayed very lightly. It dries quickly in about 30 minutes and you and put on another light coat. Three coats a day is about right. After you build up a good base and get a feel for it you can apply a wetter coat but still 3 a day and let dry overnight. There is no need to sand between coats as the next coat will melt the previous one. Finally you should wait at least 5 to 7 days to do your final wet sand and polish.This stuff is really soft and it will take 4 months to completely harden and dry and really it continues to dry for years. If you don't have the time and patience for this process you may be better off using a more modern finish, however if you are willing to invest the time you will be rewarded with a beautiful outcome.

The lacquer laid down very nice and I could put down multiple layers.

We used the spray can last night. It was probably our inexperience, but it was shiny in some places and dull looking in others. We are going to give it another coat this morning.
