Knob isn't an exact match but it did the job....
Knob isn't an exact match but it did the job. My last knob leaked do three set screw was rusted beyond recognition. I had to drill the old know off to repair the ball behind it. I used a little caulk to seal the hot cold button on so it wouldn't leak this time.

I failed to check it out with a store employee before buying it.
The knob doesn't fit! The new one has a Phillips screw; the old one had a slottted screw. Fortunately, the escutcheon does fit in the old knob opening. The shower was installed in Sept, 1974. I obviously should have spoken with a store rep before buying it.

Perfect fit
I had ordered a different one on line that wouldn't fit. I returned it the same day that I bought this one. This one fits perfectly. After over 20 years, my old handles broke in two pieces. This new one seems really strong. I like the red and blue arrows for hot and cold.

To fit my faucet it needed to be rectangle, this was diamond shape. I had to return it. Wish they would have had one to fit my delta tub/shower faucet.
