We have been using this ventilator for couple of weeks now and everything is ok.

It was easy to install, but for the noise level rating of 1.0 scones. It seem a little loud IMHO.

How do I rate this less than one star? We’ve had two of this model fan, both failed in less than five months due to the same defect. The outer rim of the squirrel cage fan cracked during normal use and the centrifugal force caused the fan to expand in size and contact the outer housing. You’ll get major noise when it fails, hang on! Warranty has to come from the manufacturer and go through the authorized dealer, plus requires prepaid shipping to return the defective unit to Delta for them to evaulate the warranty claim. Spending more money and jumping through dealer and manufacturer hoops to possibly receive a replacement of the same quality doesn’t seem like a smart move. How sad, Delta.

Easy install & very quite

I liked the fan/Led light combo. I replaced a fan that was put in service in the late 1970's. The installation took few hours but this fan is much quieter than the old fan. Very happy with it.

Basic bathroom fan for budget price. Does not come with metal cross brackets to attach between two joists, even though it has the slots in the sides for them, if you’re installation can take advantage of them.

Installed easily and the noise level is not obnoxiously loud very much tolerable and even unnoticeable at times.

The wiring diagram was quite confusing. It assumed you had multiple wires to multiple switches. I only had the 1, so had to consult the internet on how to wire it up. It works, but I'm not certain I got it right.

It is definitely quiet compared to a standard baseline fan. It feels like it takes longer to take the moisture out. Since it is only 10 Watt energy consumption and it is quiet I leave it on after the shower.

The Delta Breez bath fan was purchased installed in the last few weeks. Here are some thoughts. Installation wasn't as easy as some, but I was prepared for that and it's not one of my complaints, just an observation. The wire box in the unit is small, so be prepared for a tight fit. Regarding wiring, I don't understand why companies (including Delta Breez on this fan) use aluminum strand wire and have instructions that direct the use of a wire nut (the wire nut companies that I'm aware of say that their wire nuts are NOT for use with aluminum wire, and I think Wago says this too). The motor is not as quiet as some, but I don't find it objectionable. I like that the light is LED. The light is good (not too bright, and not too dim) and I plan to put it on a dimmer and try it dimmed very low at night (like a night light). The motor is spec'd as brushless, which appeals to me, but I'm not sure of the actual benefit (the Broan fan it replaced was 20 years old, but got noisy like a bearing went out). It's too early to comment on the fan's lifespan, but I haven't encountered anything concerning. So far, I don't regret my choice - the price for the product/features was acceptable, and I don't have complaints with how it works.

They have a short delay before it starts running, that makes you think it's torn up. But it starts up after about 3sec. And works great.

I am glad I waited until my fan arrived before prepping bathroom BECAUSE the fan cover is actually aligned 90 degrees from the picture. (It worked to my advantage)

Pretty good install went well. Maybe should have gotten the more powerful one as there is still some steam after showers but it clears it quickly. Very quiet for its size, fits flush, and doesn’t look like a vent fan.

Very quite and moves the air out!

Fit in the spot perfectly! Light is bright and fan works to manage the steam.
