Purchased for elderly mother. It has a low threshold and a floor that is truly non-slip. I would have preferred a white option, but the gray went with our colors. It’s very light gray.

This single/front threshold base will work fine if your floor is completely level. If it's not 100% level, look for a different product.

Finally after 4 times and weeks delaying installation finally one was not cracked on the edges

It is well constructed and has a nice finish to it.

Perfect for what I was looking for.

Expected the tray would have a centered hole, both length-wise and width-wise but that was not the case because the width of the hoke was off centered resulting in a need to demo the trap to accommodate the change in the location of the new hole.

Seems like a solid product. I did screw down a 1/4 hardie backer board to the subfloor. I put the mortar mix on the backer board, so I wouldn't destroy the subfloor, in case I ever had to take it out. Used almost the whole 80 lbs bag of mortar under it. There a couple good videos of this base being installed. Watched them and used the best tips from them.

I purchased this shower base to install in a basement bathroom. The manufacturing is excellent and it is extremely solid in construction. I recommend using gloves when handling to avoid stray glass fibre on the underside. My only criticism is that the instructions give no indication of how much mortar to use during the installation process. It is not clear whether the intent is to simply provide a firm footing or whether to support the underside of the base. As I was installing on a very flat concrete basement floor I elected to stabilize the base just by securing the lip with countersunk screws to the framing behind. Only time will tell whether this was a wise move!

I read dozens of reviews before purchasing this shower base. Many of the reviews for less expensive bases indicated that the shower bases flexed or moved once fitted and we wanted a strong and stable base - hence our purchase of this substantially more expensive model. While the base appears to be strong and well moulded, the circular supports on the underside of the base were not applied uniformly across the base and the depth of these supports, which should level the base according to the contour of the floor pan, did not match sufficiently to allow the base to sit steady on a level floor. In other words, when on a level floor the base rocked from side to side and back to front when weight was applied. It took a considerable amount of time and effort to trim the supports so that the base sat level, without rocking when weight was applied. While the base seems to be fine, you would reasonably expect the base to sit level. Way more care needs to be taken in the finishing of the supports during manufacture for this base to be worth what you pay for it. Quality control needs attention.
