Perfect replacements for my shunted sockets. Non-shunteds were required when converting all my fluorescent tube lights to single-end LED tubes and rewiring to bypass the ballasts. Not a bad one in the bunch.

Very easy conversion from fluorescent to led. All of the fluorescent fixtures in my house are shunted. Tested with a volt meter.

The fluorescent light "tombstones" were exactly what I needed to convert my existing fixture. Old tombstones become brittle after many years, and were cracking off in pieces. If you are replacing a ballast or converting to LED bulbs, replacing the tombstones is the right thing to do.

Converting my fluorescents to LED was easier than I thought....and much brighter. Glad I did it.

If you intend to use single ended LED style tubes to replace your fluorescent lights, you will need to have these tombstones at both ends of your light to make them work correctly. These are called non-shunted tombstones, and basically what that means is that the connectors at the end of the tombstones are not shorted together. The new LED lights require 110 volts ac to be applied only to two of the pins on one end of the light to work correctly. Also the ballast should be completely removed from the old light before installing these to achieve maximum power efficiency. The other alternative is to modify your existing tombstones and there are plenty of YouTube videos to show how to quickly and easily do this if you do not wish to replace them. Overall these work exactly as expected and appear to be of high quality and reasonable price. Highly recommended!

I used the sockets to convert three different styles of fluorescent fixtures to LED. No problem getting the different types of fit to work out. Only negative issue was that one of the sockets would not retain its wire, which kept slipping out. That shorted out the fixture, so I had to dissassemble the lamp and replace the faulty socket. If that had not happened, I would have given a 5 rating. Not a big deal, since I only needed to use 10 of the 20 pieces.
