Good product overall. They are primed but you will need to sand a few of the rough spots. There's a few imperfections but they are minor. The wood is on the soft side so it will ding and dent in a high use application. I used 2 cans good quality white spray paint and am very pleased with the result. Good value as spindles can be pricey.
