Great product in ALL respects. I have used this product for three years. Live in the heat of the South Florida sun and couldn't be any more satisfied. Suggestions: Do not apply in the heat of the sun. Not necessary to apply a heavy coat. Mix in non-skip powder. Is slippery when wet. First application may require two coats. I recoat every 12 months or so reapplying non-skid as well. I use on dark pavers that gives a high luster wet look that is beautiful. I will definitely continue the use of this product,

This product looks awesome on my brick walls and on my pavers. The wet sealer was easily rolled onto pavers and you can brush it onto the walls. I highly recommend this product to everyone that has dull pavers and walkways.

I can't buy this in Illinois so I order and have it shipped to Wisconsin for pick it up at a Home Depot. I have used water based sealers in the past with poor results. This was easy to apply with a roller and it looks good. It brings out the color of the paver and has a semi gloss shine on the paver. When it rains it leaves droplets of water on the paver like water on a car that has just been waxed. The surface is not slippery but if it is cold it could freeze. The description states the coverage is 200 square feet per gallon but on the label it states 100 square feet. So far I like this product a lot and will use it again.

My recommendation is first buy 1 five gallon bucket to see what your coverage is. Then order the rest based on that. I bought 11 buckets of this to seal my paver driveway. The driveway is about 5000 sq ft. It was part of a large summer project to first kill all the weeds, pull and/or burn remaining weeds, kill moss, resand, and finally seal. The pavers were very porous and required 3 coats. The pavers had never been sealed by the previous owners. If I had to do it over, I would apply the product more liberally rather than trying to stretch it as I think 2 coats would work that way. I recommend using the large 18" roller to make the job go faster. It can't be sprayed through a pump sprayer as it's too thick. I tried. I also recommend a mask designed for VOCs as it has a strong solvent smell. Preferably one with cartridges on the side. Also rubber boots that you are willing to throw out as it will spray on your boots and destroy them. Also long pants and solvent proof gloves. Close your windows when applying as the vapors will creep into your house and don’t store wet rollers or trays indoors for the same reason. It will stink up your whole house. If you have neighbors close by tell them to close their windows also. It’s best to apply this product with the wet product and vapors downwind of yourself. Pavers look dark and wet and I'm very happy with the results. It was an expensive job but I feel it's worth it and hope the product lasts.

    Exactly what I needed
I had an issue with the pavers on my pool deck. The sand would wash away and I would get weeds growing between the bricks. After pressure washing the pavers I swept in a water-activated polymeric sand mixture and then sealed the area with this Eagle acrylic sealer. This solvent-based sealer helped lock in the sand and has kept out the weeds for over two months. Part of my pool deck is exposed to the sun and the rest of the area is under an overhanging roof. The pavers exposed to the sun were a bit lighter in color and seemed a little duller or rougher-looking. The sealer brought back the color in the pavers and gave them a permanent sheen, and the pavers have a uniform appearance now. The pool deck looks as good as it did when it was installed in 2007. I applied the sealer using an 18" roller (3/4" nap) and an extension pole and was able to cover approximately 500 square feet of patio in a couple of hours. Coverage was as advertised at 100 SF/ gallon. The surface was dry to the touch in about 4 hours. I only applied one coat, and the water beads nicely as seen in one of the photos. A second coat would have yielded a shinier surface, but I preferred the more satin look. I was pleased with the results and would buy the Eagle paver sealer again.

    Garage Door Seal Sticks
I applied 2 coats of this sealer about 3 months ago, gave it 3 days to dry and it looked great. I still like the looks although there is some minor hazing around the edges of several pavers. I would still recommend it & use it again. However wanted to post this warning to others - started having problem with my garage door after 2 months. It started severly jerking when it began to open. I thought I'd have to call for a GDO service. Then I looked closely at the bottom seal where it rested on the sealed pavers. It had a black sticky build up - like glue. I live in FL & the pavers get really hot.I think the garage door bottom rubber seal reacted with the chemical in the sealer. Anyway I used glue remover & a steel scraper to remove as much of the build up as I could.Of course the pavers don't look as good after the scraping, but the garage door now opens normally. Not sure what will prevent this from coming back, but will apply a rubber protectorant to door seal every month to see if that helps.

    Eagle Paver Sealer Looking Good
I really like this sealer. I initially just used it on my covered lanai. It transformed dry, scuffed pavers into looking like they were new. Actually probably better than new as it gave them a low-lustre shine and covered all scuff marks with a single coat. For my driveway that's exposed to full Florida sun & weather, I'm applying 2 coats hoping the acrylic holds up a number of years. After 2 coats the shine increases to what I would call semi-glossy. I like this as I didn't want a full gloss look. Also I noted that slipperiness when wet doesn't seem to be a problem. This sealer coats the sand in the paver joints like a hardened glue, so hope this effect lasts years as well and I won't need to keep refilling joints with new sand. Remember to avoid getting pavers wet for first 24 hours after applying. When I first painted front walk pavers, the sprinklers ran that night. White spots resulted. All I had to do was repaint the pavers with another coat and the spots fully disappeared.

Eagle paver sealer is a bit tricky. Clean up for me requires an epoxy remover. Also the fumes are too strong. I don’t know Voc’s though I have to wear a mask! The seal, and penetration on a hot day is as good as any.

WORKS OUTSTANDING IF PAVERS HAVE ALREADY BEEN SEALED however I PURCHASED it to cover unsealed very porous pavers put on two heavy coats and NO SHINE NO GLOSS NO WET LOOK so I’m going to cover with a lacquer based sealer and then cover with EAGLE HIGH GLOSS - WORKED GREAT ON MY EXISTING PREVIOUSLY SEALED PAVERS

Good build and sheen. Time will tell if uv causes the finish to whiten as has been experienced with other xylene-based sealers.
