About This Product
The Armor SX5000 WB is a proprietary water-based Silane-Siloxane water repellent and impregnating sealer for concrete and masonry surfaces. It penetrates and chemically bonds deep within the substrate to form a hydrophobic barrier within the pores. It provides long lasting protection against deterioration or staining caused by water absorption, salt and freeze-thaw cycles. Once sealed, substrate become less susceptible to cracking, spalling, pitting, staining, mold, mildew, algae and efflorescence. The Armor SX5000 will not impair the natural breathing characteristics of treated substrates, nor will it produce a film or coating.

Questions & Answers
Is this product foamy when spread around? I’ve had sealer that is much easier to spread out and work around that’s foamy in the past, whereas another sealer I have currently is more “watery” and does not apply easily, especially on vertical surfaces.
Hi Kecaps! I would not consider this material to be foamy. It is water-based so it will have a similar consistency to water. I'm not sure what products or chemicals you have used in the past, but the SX5000 WB is great for use on vertical surfaces. We suggest using a HVLP pump sprayer for a nice consistent application. We do have 16 ounce samples available if you'd like to try the product out before purchasing a larger quantity.

Is the 5 gallon pail easy to pour in to container
Yes it is! The 5 Gallon pail has a spout for pouring.
does it come in a satin finish
The SX5000WB is a penetrating sealer and only comes in a natural finish (no gloss, no color enhancement). Concrete sealers such as the WB15 typically provide a low gloss finish.
What is the preferred method of application
It's best to apply the SX5000WB with a 2 to 3 gallon garden pump sprayer fitted with a .5GPM fan nozzle or an adjustable cone nozzle. Try not to puddle the sealer while applying. Consider keeping a push broom on hand to disburse any accidental puddles. It's recommended that you test a small area prior to full application to confirm a natural appearance and feel.
Can this product be applied with an airless sprayer?
The SX5000WB is best applied around 20 psi with a .5GPM nozzle. An airless sprayer can atomize the sealer which may reduce the amount of sealer entering the substrate. Airless sprayer application is not recommended.
If using a pump can, is it fine if overspray gets in your pool water?
It's best to protect your pool water as much as possible from overspray. Some of our customers use a sheet of cardboard as a barrier or have a pool floatie with cardboard (next to the coping) to catch overspray. A very small amount of accidental overspray is not an issue.
Can this product be tinted?
The SX5000WB cannot be tinted.
