hooked everything up and filled with water and plugged in, and nothing unit did not wok

Installation (6 weeks ago) was was very basic and simple, althoughI did have to install an electric outlet below the sink. We now have hot water immediately at our bathroom sink which is a great distance from our main water heater. No more washing our hands with cold water or wasting water waiting for hot water from our main water heater.

For the the size it’s working out well in the kitchen because it took forever to get hot water from our water heater would recommend it to friends and family neighbors

Our church has purchased 3 of these units. Each one has had some type of problem. The cost is so affordable that it makes up for the lack of longevity and bad customer service. The most recent unit started leaking while under warranty.We contacted customer service, followed their instructions to submit documentation, received an email confirmation that everything was received. Waited 1 month. Then followed up. They said to call customer service. I explained I already did that. Now no response.

I haven't used this yet.

Undersink water heater water was fairly simple to install and works

Purchased the 2.5 gal. After installation, neither of the indicator lights light up, but the unit heats the water. I'm not going to return it because I don't want to go through removal and re-installation. As for installation... buy 2 brass 1/2" M-M fittings (one end @ 90 degrees, if space is limited). Use lots of teflon tape. Tighten down as far as you can. Then use 1/2"- 3/8" flex jumpers (with grommets, so no teflon tape). I also used a 3/8" M-M coupling for the faucet end, since my faucet came with a 3/8 hose connection built in. No leaks. Be sure to bleed out the air before plugging the unit in.

Easy to install and works beautifully. Finally, plenty of hot water immediately at the kitchen sink. No longer do I have to run the water for a long time to get hot water. Great investment.

Purchased this to replace a propane heater in an RV. Been an ideal decision!

Works great gets hot fast

This product is performing great. It took me 1- hour to install and test it.

I purchased to replace a damaged standard 5 gallon water heater in our shop. It took less than 15 minutes to install and it has operated perfectly now for several weeks. Great value too. I'm anxiousto see how it affects our electric bill compared to the old one.

6 gallons of hot water does not last long

Works as advertised. FWIW, the unit came with a pressure relief valve (it wasn't clear from the instructions if it was included).

Purchased online and received via free shipping the next day! Installed in detached garage for bbq and dirty hands washing. 7 minutes till very warm water and 15 minutes till piping hot water, works perfectly as expected! I just turn it on to use it when needed and I'll get another one for the planned 1/2 bathroom this summer.

My ranch style home has the water heater 50-60 feet (as the plumbing is routed) from the kitchen sink. I takes 20-25 seconds for the hat water to travel from the gas heater to the tap in the kitchen. This is not only due to the distance, but also the need to heat up the cold copper pipe running beneath the floor to deliver hot water to the the sink. This is a frustratingly long delay, and also a waster of a good amount of water. This electric mini-tank water heater fits beneath my kitchen sink and delivers hot water in 2-3 seconds. No more waiting. This is very easy to install even though my cabinet is rather full with double sink drain piping, garbage disposal, and water filter. The electric outlet under the sink has four plugs: switchable plug for the disposal, and three powered plugs. One plug is for the dishwasher, another is for my instant hot (190 degrees) water heater, and the last one available for this mini-tank heater. I routed the water from the gas water heater, which was to the tap, as input to this mini-tank heater. The output from this mini-heater goes directly to the hot water tap. Seldom do I have a need for more than a few quarts of hot water so the 2-1/2 gallons (10 quarts) of this mini-tank is easily sufficient for my normal needs. If I have need for an exceptional amount of hot water, the gas water heater will provide the larger volume after the mini-tank is exhausted,

This is the 2nd EcoSmart mini-tank water heater that I have purchased. They fit under the sink perfectly and provide the hot water that i need.

Used it to heat water for a bidet seat on a toilet. Worked excellent very quick and cost effective

The device works well. Home Depot does not install them as described online when I purchased it. I had to hire a local plumber to do the installation.
