Worked perfect for me.

Not able to move the pins easily or lock them in place.

Contour gauge was not able to perform the task that I needed, As a result, I returned it back to the store. The Home Depot had one online that I wanted to purchase but did not have it available in the store.

Product functions as expected.

Disappointed in it's size and the ease in using it.

It is a very necessary and ideal tool to make the perfect cuts and fast.

I only used it for two different shapes and the tines?(metal things) began to fall out and would not stay in. I'll be returning it

The pins have a tendency to get wedged against their neighbor. Otherwise quite a nifty tool.

This was the first time I had to use one of these and I figured I pick this one up but when I went to use it I couldn’t even press it down, the sides wouldn’t even budge but the middle works perfectly. It’s unfortunate but I guess you do get what you pay for.

While I’ve seen devices like this advertised on the web. this is the first time I needed to use one to cut an irregular convex shape. Unfortunately, the “pins” used to trace the shape were too tight to fit into the shape and do the job. A disappointment.

Easy to use for exact measurements

Was awesome in helping me make complex curves in my metal project.

Pins are small enough to trace small curves and corners. Gets the job done.

Did not work as aspected

The splines on this contour gauge are way too stiff to push against the surface you are trying to copy. Having to push so hard is going to end up bending some of the splines. A plastic contour gauge would be better. Returned it immediately to the store.

I need it for woodworking projects and so far it works well.

Fair pins are to weak will bend trying to do 45

Unlike plastic devices on the market this allows for a more detailed contour copy.
