I use it to put my puppies' potty pads in. The edges prevent "runoff". Works great.

Replacing my original drain pan for my water heater because the original pan was made from a lightweight plastic and had cracked over the years. This pan was made of a more durable materials and was very easy to install. I wish that this type of pan was originally installed.

This did exactly what you are thinking it will do. When water gets too high in this pan it exits from the hole on the side. With the hole on the side you can install a pipe and direct the runoff where you want it.

Using it to put the puppy pee pads in. Saves my floor from damage. (Not what you were expecting, huh?)

I didn't break it after dropping the heater on it id say that's a win!

Works as intended. I wish it came with a hose adapter for the drain.

Product was easy to install flexible and sturdy it got crushed but didn’t break or bend returned to its original shape id buy it again 100%

Doesn't make sense not to use this for the hot water . if an accident happens, it won't be near as bad without it. I love it!!!
