These parts fit perfectly and served its purpose. It costs more but saved me the hassle of soldering on fittings. Just remember to use pipe thread Teflon tape to avoid leaking. Yes. I would recommend this part to everyone.

Wrote this the same day installed. Used this to replace leaky sharkbite. Sharkbite failed after less than 2 years. Used it on flex copper pipe. Had to snug her all the way down to seal. Think I can get about another 1/8 turn more if she starts to seep. Had to sand the pipe OD down because she wasn't perfectly round being flex copper application. After some more surface finishing and sanding on both pipe and compression nut clearance hole, got everything to fit together using some silicone lube to keep the compression assembly from burnishing up. Gooten tite! Would give it a 5, but 10.33 plus tax for (2) fittings kept it a 4. Thanks to the depot for having competent plumbing section employees! Pete at Lincoln Rd., Cypress is super helpful.

These fittings are very well made and easy to use. We are very pleased with the end result. I repaired a leak on the water line to this water heater.

Tried to join two 3/4 inch pipes, product very hard to get sealed properly. After a good amount of work, still leaked. Had to return, but Home Depot was very easy to return the item. Will not buy again.

They are made of well constructed materials and worked great. Exactly what I needed to marry my old copper pipes to some new pex lines for my water heater.
