WISH IT WAS A PVC FITTING
The only fitting I could find to fit 3/4" sprinkler pipe to adapt to 1/2 pop-up sprinkler. Why no sprinkler manufacturer makes a pvc one I don't know.

Does the job, I would recommend having one of each size on hand to quickly close up a leaky faucet or temporarily seal off a pipe to replace the expansion tank. It is worth the few dollars investment to have on hand.
