after struggling to get flex duct around my oval duct on the wall, I searched and found this adaptor. Slipped on the duct, tightened clamp, screwed flex duct on to bottom piece, snapped together and done. I did take the time to trim the flex foil and wire so no loose edges to catch lint.

The product is great. The only hard part for me was the install just because of the metal vent, that goes outside, not being the same shape as the oval adaptor. When the dyer was first installed it was done so in a very poor manner with LOTS of vent tape. This is a MUCH more secure solution. See before & after picture.

Purchased the oval to round adaptor and had the dryer running within 30 minutes. I secured it with the clamp it came with in the box and used dryer tape to help secure the duct hose in place. Additionally, I bought an elbow adaptor and secured it with a clamp to the dryer itself to put less strain on the duct hose. I also used dryer tape to secure the duct hose to the elbow even though it wasn’t entirely necessary once I moved the dryer closer to the wall. No leaks so far and it’s working well for me.

It fit our in-wall oval duct perfectly. Now we have to change our dryer vent duct.

"5 minute easy installation" . . . . NOT! This was a real horror show for me. Although the dimensions seemed correct, this thing would not go outside or inside of my oval duct. After much struggle, including cutting both thumbs, I had to break it to force it inside. Then I had to screw it in there so it would not fall out. Installation was a real pain. Frustrating and difficult to install but I know my vent might have been different from others for some reason. Go to the store and try it first. If it fits you're golden, otherwise look elsewhere.

After a modification to the adapter (to large) it works fine.

This duct adapter worked well. The plastic was very flexible but still did not conform well to the oval metal duct but it worked with added metallic duct tape.

Secure fit and easy to install. No more loose dryer hose. Good product but a little pricey.

I thought it was ridiculous that an adaptor has to used for a round dryer vent

Worth every penny. So much better than other adapters and products I tried.

I tried a few other products before this but none offered a fit this good. This stopped dryer lent dust buildup and drafts from behind my dryer. I highly recommend.

This product worked out great. I used some pliers to shape the oval duct coming out of my wall, this helped insert the oval end of the adapter into the duct. Everything else fit as advertised.

The oval did not match the pipe in the wall. Had to cut flange to fit over wall pipe. Used special tape for dryer hose to seal. Hard to find product to fir wall pipe. Manufacturers are not coordinating.

Box did not come with all the pieces shown in the image.

Good product very easy to use

Did not fit. Was the exact same size as metal vent, so you could not go in or around it. May work for some but not for me. And believe me I worked and worked with it.
