Is this the best for what application. It is a good clamp to secure a vent pipe to an exit or entering of a piece of equipped . The answer is about as ambiguous as the question. I still hope it helps. Those are good clamps
I imagine country of origin can vary but most likely from China. The ones I purchased a couple years ago had no markings I could find. Assuming you are looking for Made in USA and I applaud you but I cannot give you a definitive answer.
Yes you can, but why not just get a smaller size instead? Or perhaps you could place it, tighten and see just how much verlap is left, mark it, take it off and trim first.
I wouldn’t recommend using it on rope.
Try using a all steel BX cable staple. You would find these in the electrical section.
These 4 in clamps will close smaller than 4 in but may not close to 3 in if this is the size you require
