Thank you for your feedback. These Feit LED Light Bulbs may not turn off completely when dimmed to the lowest setting. In order to turn them off completely, please turn the light switch off.

We are using these in almost all of our new light fixtures. Great lighting when on and even look nice when off. Highly recommend the soft White for a natural look. We also have some of the 40 watt bulbs for fixtures used for mood lighting.

They do get hot and put off a lot of...
They do get hot and put off a lot of heat. They are in my dining room chandelier and have lasted the last two and 1/2 years without needing replacement. That fixture gets tuned on daily too if only for a few minutes. I have them on a dimmer so I can turn them down to help control the heat.

Filaments look weird when the bulbs are off. Not...
Filaments look weird when the bulbs are off. Not an appealing look for a chandelier. Bulbs do not dim way down like others do instead they shut off. Middle of the dim level the bulbs are bright white, not a warm light. Would be OK in a fixture with a frosted globe but not one where the bulbs are exposed.

Thank you for your feedback. This product is offered in a "frosted" finish instead of clear. The filaments cannot be seen in the frosted bulbs. The frosted version is also available at Home Depot, please use the following to search for the frosted version:
