These are sharp and cut very well, however the spring tension is not strong enough to return them to an "open" position if you get even the smallest amount of tree residue on the blade. I bought them new and began trimming apple trees, and within 20 minutes they would no longer open back up. I had to keep pulling them open for each new cut.

You get what you pay for
The blades bend apart when trying to cut something half the size of the stated opening. These things are cheaply made. You have to baby them when pruning. Would not recommend.

terrible delivery
my items were supposed to be here over a week ago and alls home depot can say is its delayed . I think you should ditch FedEx them are Un reliable delivery company

This is my third. It fits my hand, but does not have sharp blades. Price is ok. Quality needs upgrade!
