These hand clippers are perfect for pruning or cutting small branches and stems
The comfortable grip sets these clippers apart. These are the perfect size to put in your back pocket or in your tool bucket that you take as you work in the yard. I appreciate that the latch to keep the clippers closed is easy use with gloves on. The blade is sharp and the tool seems well built. I noticed the Husky tools warranty - impressive coverage for tool failure except for the blades which is reasonable.

Lightweight, comfortable to use and a well made all-purpose pruner
I frequently prune my crepe myrtle trees to keep them as trees as opposed to bushes. The Husky all-purpose bypass pruner comes in handy on the task. The pruners are lightweight, comfortable, operated by one hand and spring back open after a cut. There is a lock to keep the pruner closed for when it is being carried or otherwise not in use. The pruner is sharp and can handle up to 3/4” cuts. I also use the pruners to cut the base of briers, other unwanted plants and undesired branches. I have seen no dulling of the blade and I’ve been using the Husky pruner for months around my property. I am very pleased with them.

    Metal dented & bent.
The mouth of these pruners is suitable for small pruning jobs such as trimming roses, stemmed flowers, but not more than the size of about 1/4” as the cutting force lies primarily in the back of the sheets. It did not hold up to hard wood shrubs like sage so much so that it dented the metal which is very indicative that these won’t hold up for an avid gardener.

    Great pruner!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] These pruners are great to have around the garden. They are nice and sharp and fit comfortably in my hand. Many other pairs of clippers I have purchased in the past have been too large and made clipping difficult and painful but these are perfect. I also love that they have a locking mechanism. The make pruning my hydrangeas a breeze!

      Gets the job done fast
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received this product free from Influenster and Husky in exchange for my honest review. I spend a lot of time gardening (indoors and outdoors). Over the years I’ve found that having a good pair of hand pruning shears is extremely important. These pruners have a great grip, the pruning action makes a clean cut, and it has an easy close lock for safety when not in use. I’ve used them many times and there is no sign of the blade getting dull or rusty. Still work just as great as the day I got them. Hopefully it lasts for years to come because these have become my new favorite pruners!

Carbon steel, ergonomic pruners perfect for plant stems and small branches
Perfect pruners for cutting through greenery and thin stems or branches up to about an inch thick. The handles are ergonomic and easy to use with one hand without causing excessive hand or arm fatigue. These pruners have two slightly curved Carbon Steel blades that slide past each other (bypass) as they close, similar to scissors. One of the blades is sharper than the other. This provides a clean cut through live materials, including stems, twigs, very thin branches, vines, and leaves, including sappy or gummy plant materials, without leaving ragged or torn edges on the plants.

        Nice grip
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This hand held trimmer is a great size and weight. I was able to grasp the handles easily and squeeze without any extra pressure from my other hand. This trimmer has sharp curved blades that slice through stems and small branches with ease. I mostly use it for indoor plants but have also used on small shrubs outside to keep their clean shape. The most difficult thing about these trimmers was removing from the plastic packaging. Once that was gone, 5 stars!

          Clean cuts
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I recently got a pair of husky all-purpose bypass pruners in the mail, and I must say they have exceed my expectations. The sharp blades make clean cuts through branches of various sizes, and the bypass design prevents crushing stems. This tool is a must, every at home gardener needs this in their gardening tool box.

            Great Grip!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The sharpness is there. The grip is nice, both with and without gloves, they cut very precisely and can handle thicker stalks that have dried out. This was much needed, and I would recommend

              Great for thick stems!
The Husky Bypass Pruner does wonders in my garden for my thicker stems. I have been using the floral pruner for light work; however, the bypass pruner has come in handy when dealing with my Camellias and Viburnums. The cutting power of the pruners is great and the leverage the handle provides makes cutting through thick branches a breeze. The blade is sharp and cuts cleanly preventing any damage to the stems. I have no issue cutting through either dry or live wood. I find the grip extremely comfortable, and it molds nicely to the shape of my hand. I have had no issues with the pruners slipping out of my hands even as they get wet. One of my favorite features is the one-handed locking mechanism which allows you to easily lock and unlock the pruners with your thumb. The lock sits out of the way when the pruners are unlocked preventing the lock from accidentally engaging. When locked, the locking tab is held tightly preventing it from unlocking itself if you carry the pruners around in your pockets. I have been highly impressed with the husky line of gardening tools, and they keep consistently impressing me, even if something were to go wrong along the way, they have a lifetime warranty on their products.
