Used one time and stopped working.

No. It was not installed properly. They left the bracket hanging and the drawer is out on the cabinet and I have to find someone to come fix it. Not happy with the service at all.

This pedestal is not suitable for its intended purpose. The drawer is plastic and placing any weight at all in there (such as the detergent bottles that it is supposed to store) will cause the bottom to sag and drag on the cross brace below the drawer, preventing the drawer from opening. I opened a ticket to get this taken care of under warranty, and I was basically told "tough luck". I don't appreciate spending $600 (for both pedestals) for completely unusable storage. Not recommended.

Perfect fit, love how I don't have to break my aging back getting my laundry out of the washer!

Nope said they could do neither even though the delivery service gave me a number to call to have it installed. Service help employee was kind of rude and just said “sorry you were given bad information.” Yeah, so I have a brand new washer and pedestal just sitting in my living room.

These are absolute garbage! Made most lay of plastic they break easily. Also, if you put anything. Also, if you put anything of any weight like a laundry detergent bottle the supports for the drawer bend and the bottom of the drawer smashes against the bottom part of the frame Creating a very undesirable sound every time you open and close it. I am so aggravated by the pedestal drawers that I am thinking about returning the washer and dryer and buying a different brand.

When they installed the pedestal the installers scracthed the door glass , the drawer cover has broken retainers so it is loose, also the cabinet is misaligned with the drawer. Not happy at all with the pedestal . I want a different pedestal to replace this defective one. Btw the first pedestal that came with the washer was damaged so I had to wait for a month for the replacement .

These are made extremely cheap for the price charged. The first pedestal came with a broken front panel. The plastic area where it is screwed in is flimsy and breaks easy. Took weeks to get a replacement and 1 of the screws were broken on that. I believe this is a manufacturing/warehouse issue. They use cheap materials and most likely store the pedestals on their back for a period of time causing the drawers to stress out the plastic and pull apart. Also, the drawers don't function with any weight. Even just 1 bottle of detergent causing is to stop half way like it bottoms out. It says to not exceed 50lbs but really it's 5lbs. The second pedestal came a month later and the SAME issue with the drawer being broke. Also, the feet were missing as the only hardware included were the brackets. Both are paid for and can not be returned so I will be ordering replacement feet and enjoying looking at $500 worth of non functional pedestals that that only serve the purpose of heightening the appliances. People are having these problems from all places of purchase not just HD.

Excellent pedestal drawers. We use one for a GE washer and the same pedestal drawer for a Samsung dryer, so they matched.

The pedestal makes a terrible clanking sound if you put any weight in it. I purchased pedestals to house laundry detergent and it makes terrible noise if it's in there. What a waste of money.

This 16 inch pedestal is perfect. It raises my washer to the best height and the drawer fits gallon jugs.

The pedestal works fine. The delivery was installed as promised and the guys who installed it did a great job, except that they left off a screw that was dropped and my husband called it to their attention and after they left, I noticed a scratch on the trim piece going into my laundry room.

Pedestal is what as advertised. Arrived with no problems. Installers did a good job setting up the machines.

Washer I assume is wonderful however I have been able to use it but once because the delivery men/installers didn’t balance it so rocks back and forth, rattles, only allowing it wash very very below the lowest setting. As is it’s useless.

Highly recommend this pedestal for storage and elevating the dryer for us tall people! ?

This pedestal is not sturdy enough for this washer especially not with water and wet clothes in it. The machine starts to vibrate uncontrollably when it goes into the spin cycle. Two repairman and one was a GE repairman have been out to try to fix it since our purchase in August. It never quit shaking and no one has suggested a solution to the problem. I will be doing reviews and letters to both Home Depot and General Electric to address this issue since after researching consistently on line I have discovered this problem has existed for 3 years and no solution has been addressed. Very disappointed in my purchase and service to correct the problem. Rhonda

Be aware if you purchase for an existing GE washer and dryer and it says "Free installation". When they bring them they will say they cannot install unless the washer and dryer was purchased from Home Depot. Seems it should be stated next to the "Free Installation". That would give the option not to by from Home Depot if the units were not purchased from them. They claim it's policy, but cannot provide where. They just keep deflecting to check/call someone else.

The drawer capacity is surprisingly deep and large, and we can now store the cleaning products we use for our washer and dryer beneath it saving space. The height of the pedestals raise both our washing and dryer to a convenient level so we are not bending all the way over to switch laundry from one machine into the other.
