I washed two loads everything worked fine. I washed a third load and the control panel cracked.

Love this set so far! Only thing it doesn't have is an option to fill with water first n add detergent before putting the clothes.in so the detergent is distributed evenly.

My GE washer can handle my King-size blanket with ease, plus the washer is so quiet I can operate it even at night without disturbing anyone.

The capacity is excellent. I can wash 2 king size comforter at a time, and the power washer is unbelievable. That’s an amazing product.

The only success I’m having with this washer is with my comforter. But this washer cannot handle everyday items like clothes and towels. No matter how small the load, no matter how meticulous I try to load the washer, it will not balance or spin. Every load is sopping wet and I have to fuss with repeatedly, often times removing soaking wet items just so I can spin what’s left. It’s awful. I attached a photo of my most recent sopping wet load so you can see how small of a load this washer can’t handle. It’s a shame because the washer has some nice features. I just wish I could enjoy them.

I purchased this washer & it’s matching dryer for my first home. They were brand new at the time so there weren’t a ton of reviews to help guide me there so I took a chance on a highly rated brand instead. BIG mistake. This washer bangs around when dead level. It automatically changes all the settings back to using the most detergent on the warmest water (financially wasteful) every time I go to do a load. The worst part is, not even a year after owning it has the top of the drum chewed itself to shreds (which in turn went into a load of laundry, shredded a bunch of clothing, & made a HUGE mess. I’m currently fighting with GE & Home Depot on getting at least an exchange for a different model. The dryer is 10x’s worse so please avoid both products!

I never realized how big a 5 cu. ft washer actually is, made me grateful Im as tall as I am so i can actually reach to the bottom of it. Delivery/install guys were in and out in 10 min, super efficient. So far its quiet, works, clothes appear and smell clean and theres no water on the floor. Im taking it as a win as of now. My water is harsh on all things plumbing, well see how it holds up.

My wife and I have been shopping around for a washer for months and we finally came across our dream washer. Many might think purchasing one is easy. Well, with the new technology advances in washers, people will be surprised what kind of power these things have! For starters, this particular washer has WiFi. this is great for us because my wife can load up the washer with the clothes before she leaves the house for work. About an hour away from home when she’s coming back, she can start the washer so by the time she gets home, she can unload the clothes. It’s also great because it gives you notifications from the washer when it’s running and when the cycle is finished. My all time favorite option is pre-fill detergent option. We can load up to 75 oz. Of detergent so we don’t have to keep filling it every time we wash. Overall, this washer has a lot of capacity and can easily wash comforters! It’s sleek looking and I would definitely recommend this silver color. Don’t waste your time shopping around and get this ASAP! You won’t be a disappointed. :))))

I love my new washer! Saves on soo much water! I can wash more at one time and be done with laundry faster! Would have given 5 stars, but we had trouble figuring out the washer at 1st. This is the 1st *smart* washer we've had. There were not really good instructions on how to load it. Had to go online to watch videos. It is a little louder than I expected but not much. But other than that, we love our new washer!

I waited over 6 months to get his this machine and dryer set because the demand was so great and the reviews were the best everywhere. I simply don't know why. This machine is the WORST washing machine I have ever owned. I have had so many issues with this and headaches with this machine that it just makes me sad. First, the auto liquid dispenser DO NOT dispense liquid. After 2 GE technicians, 1 plumber (blamed on water pressure in the house), and frustration with it; I have reverted back to just pouring in the liquid in myself. I have an entire carton of detergent just turning into God knows what by just sitting there not dispensing. Stuck. Also, the auto balance function is garbage. The computer balancer doesn't work. I just have to open the lid and balance the load myself. However, if you try to put anything of size into the washing machine (2 sheets, or a comforter, or a blanket, etc) the balancer is useless. It soaks the clothes and tries to balance a large item like a comforter in a way that makes things terrible. The machine starts to knock very and mean VERY loudly and starts to walk all over the place because the AUTO balancer does not work. So, even when I dig my hands in to the machine and get the now extremely heavy comforter to even out the load, it becomes an impossible dance of trial and error. There are also times when my machine tells me that the load is complete; but in reality the clothes inside are still soaking wet. I have to do an who separate cycle of "rinse and spin" in order for the clothes to get dry the way they are suppose to. So have i have to add more water and then it might spin dry. There's more. But if this is not enough, then buy at your own pleasure. Honestly, I feel duped. I am so bummed because it was a very costly mistake. I regret my purchase VERY much.

I did a lot of research prior to purchasing this washing machine. We have only had it for a month now but I have not used it enough for a full review. As of now, it works pretty well and gets the job done. As many have stated in their review, this is not the old washing machines with agitators that go at 100 mph (I'm probably exaggerating lol)  and has the water level options. The agitator goes at a much slower speed and the machine fills with water based on the amount of clothing in the washer (digitally). There is a deep fill option however that option is not available for the colors (normal) wash. I would have liked if that option was available for all cycles. I have noticed that with smaller loads, the water level is excessively low but surprisingly it has gotten the job done. Overall, I like the machine. I will make edits to my review as I familiarize myself with the machine.

GE makes outstanding quality product, but this washer is my favorite. I would recommend buying this washer for sure!

I Been having this for three years and it has broken down Four times. This machine flooded my house. Also the reason I still have it is because I bought extended warranty but I would never buy this Brand again. I Bought it because it was brand new and it was beautiful. But the beauty does not compensate all the stress he has given

I have same exact issues as other review on 2/7/21 with drum jumping all over at times and 2 out of 3 washes the clothes are soaking wet. Very heavy to lift to shift weight. Run through a spin cycle and same issue. Most of the time I have to run through spin cycle 3 times to finally get water out! Sometimes I still have to run through 2 times in matching dryer just to get things dried. Very unhappy since they are only 6 months old and this started at 2 months old! Hoping to get a resolution! And YES, I'm 57 yrs old been doing laundry for 40 years so I am NOT overloading nor putting everything on one side to begin with.... NOT operator error. Please stand behind your products!

Beautiful washer/dryer set with all of the latest features. If you are below average height and don't need the larger size, you may want to get the smaller washer. I'm 5'1" and cannot reach the very bottom of the drum without my handy-dandy step-stool. This 5.2 cubic ft. size is huge. I washed my queen-size comforter and it looked like I could have fit 2 in there. I love this w/d set, it's so pretty.

We purchased this washer (along with matching GE dryer model# GTD84ECSN0WS) since we trusted the GE name as a quality product and wanted a machine that could handls larger loads and even a comforter periodically. The dryer has been fine, but as nice as we hoped the washer to be, it has a serious balancing issue when trying to spin. When it runs, it goes through the wash cycle just fine and does a great job, however it constantly goes out of balance during the spin cycle. Small or large loads, it doesn't matter and we are definitely not overloading it. At least 50% of wash loads, we are experiencing this issue, and this is with regular loads of wash that we typically ran in our 15-20 year old machine that we replaced, that was a lower capacity machine. The machine is still like new and hasn't had a lot of use, so we are a bit beside ourselves, especially considering all the features this machine offers and here we are having problems with something as basic as spin balancing. Sadly, we're forced to constantly reshuffle and/or remove laundry from the machine to complete the wash cycle. I seriously hope GE reads these reviews and reaches out to assist in resolving this. It seems like this could be a great machine, but this spin balancing issue is becoming a show stopper...

This washer was easy to set up and great to use. Love the features, especially the ability to start the washer while away. Great for use, when I am on my way home from work. Start a load before I get into the car, load is finished by the time I get home. The detergent tank is another great feature, no more needing to measure and pour cups for every load. Works Wonders!!!
