I had a similar product in my previous house and I new I wanted this one for my new house. I love all the features and it’s capacity.

The appliance appears to be fine, but we've only been using the cooktop for a couple of weeks so it's barely broken in. The aggravation associated with getting the foam tape that goes under the perimeter of the unit, that's supposed to come with the unit, is why i'm gving this appliance three stars. It took me over a week to get it, and in order to get the stove installed I actually bought it from a web based appliance parts store unaffiliated with GE Appliances, and the OEM foam tape actually shipped from the same GE Appliance warehouse as that which we eventually got from GE appliances customer service. The foam tape that i tried to get GE Appliances to provide several times, through several phone calls with several personnel from different departments, actually arrived after i installed the cooktop with the foam tape i purchased from a third party. It's frustrating to spend over a thousand dollars for an appliance and then have to shell out more money to buy a part that was supposed to come in the box with the appliance. Additionally, the installation instructions are not up to date. For example the instructions indicate a 1-inch diameter conduit connector is required, but the conduit with the appliance is in fact 3/4-inches. I've been using the cooktop for at least 2 or three weeks now and it seems to be working fine. I'm hesitant to purchase another GE Appliances appliance since they don't seem to have their customer service act together.

Just a really pleasant unit to work with! Big upgrade over previous one, multiple burner sizes, lockout knob for safety, fast heat come-up, nice heat levels. In all, a great purchase for me.

The unit operates well. My only complaint is that some carpentry was required for the unit to fit in the space above a utility drawer when it was replacing a unit of the same make and general design. That happened last time as well.

I like how easy it is to clean up a mess, no burner pans! The power boil really boils quickly.

I replaced my old GE cooktop. The only problem was the control board. I replaced it with the same type but this one has five burners which I really like. Plus I can keep something warm. Great for me.

The cooktop was a replacement for our original which was 18 years old. The GE fit the counter cutout and was installed easily. The 5 burners were very handy for a party I had. I would recommend this product.

It just quit working after 1 year unfortunately requiring a service call that is very pricey

It hasn’t been a week since installation, but I really love this stove top. Others complain that it’s difficult to clean, but we figured it out. After cooking, whatever you apply, , DO NOT let the cleaning product set. Instead, apply the cleaning product and immediately go with the grain and wipe the product off. Let everything dry and then buff.

Warning lights a plus, but if you pull knobs off to clean surface then put them back on, if you push to far down the Warning light comes on

The power boil option is great to use. I like the syncs burner option as well.

So far we are extremely happy with. Only had 2 days so far, but beautiful and cooks great.

It cooks evenly and doesn’t take long to heat up. My only complaint is the surface has been left with spots that won’t come off, even with gentle cleaning.

I am very pleased with the looks, features, and cooking on my new GE cook top. I also have a GE profile double oven, and GE microwave. I am pleased with all the GE appliances.

We were limited in replacing our electric cooktop and wanted something Stainless Steel to complete the look of the appliances in our kitchen. This one fits the bill perfectly—it looks beautiful and we wanted knobs, especially like that there’s a “locking knob” so little hands cannot accidentally turn on! It heats up quickly and the lighting indicators are an added guarantee in knowing when the unit is still hot/warm! We’ve only had this cooktop for about a month, and of course have noticed some “fingerprints”, but as of yet, have not been plagued with the cleaning issues noted in some of the other reviews. It is an extremely attractive and functional unit!

Love my new cooktop its amazingly amazing. For a big family cooking isn't always easy but with this 5 burner stove it is and the keep warm is just amazing. Just did a reno and had to have this one was very nice looking and thought it wld fit well in my new island and am super happy. Couldn't be happier with it. Since everything else we have is GE it fits quiet well.

I just love my new GE Profile cooktop! Easy to clean and cooks evenly. It’s made cooking fun again.

The first unit u sent was used or tried to be installed by someone else and damaged it pulling it out. The second one was new. We had to uninstall and install TWICE. Very inconvenient.

We have a GE Profile Cooktop for over 20 years and it still works with no issues so decided to upgrade to a new one and we chose GE again,

Great features, easy to use and quality performance.

We just had our cooktop put in last Sunday and I’m loving it already. I love the 5 burners and I also love the quick boil feature. The cooktop is a little hard to keep looking fresh and clean, but it’s to be used. I like the knobs, they look very nice.

Looks great but one of the knobs doesn’t turn red like the others and it’s sooooo hard to keep clean

This cook top popped into our new counter and was connected in minutes. An easy installation.
