Instructions were easy to follow for adding the extention.

No and Home Depot made a big hassle about trying to return it set it allowing me to go to any Home Depot. I have apparently have to drive all the way to the one that I ordered it from ridiculous

There was no chain in the package

The rails were easy to install and exactly what I needed.

Worked as advertised. Simple install directions

Kit received. Metal rail only! Chain and other required parts not packed. Had to return and reorder. Hopefully they will include all components this time!

Segmented support bar engagement is loose. This makes the whole assembly a little sloppy. That being said I have no complaints on setup or function. Very nice and very pleased.

Chain link did not include the locking piece - I had to purchase a completely new locking link to get this one piece $1.75

I give it 4 stars for 2 reasons. One, the kit should just come with the extension set because the majority or garage doors are over 6 feet tall. Second, I followed the instructions to a Tee. Wouldn't fully open or close. Took it all apart and reinstalled it to make sure I didn't miss anything. Still a problem. Had to call a garage door company to come look at it. 30 minutes and 180 dollars later, it was fixed. Chain needs to be much tighter than what the instructions call for.

Did the job of accommodating our 8 ft. tall garage doors.

Customer service helped identify the correct extension, and it shipped on time.

First off it was boxed like an a&&hole did it and next the extra parts I needed to purchase on install day cost me 4 hrs time and $5 for the extra link connector. One more reason to support the local lumber stores
