Star drive screws are far superior to a typical philips head screw!

These screws come with a drill attachment that make it easy to install with my impact drill. (You could use a regular drill too). The screws themselves have a good bite and hold well especially when I'm rough framing something.

These are great screws. They start easily and drive well. They are easy to control and don't overload your driver. The hold well. I used them to screw my subfloor to the underlying joists. A nice benefit is that they did not tear out or strip the threads as so many screws will do. They are a bit pricey but worth the extra cost. I recommend.
