I have been searching for months for the perfect butcher block I could use to replace my current desktop and this fit the bill quite nicely. I love the overall look and how it transformed my office/gaming area.

We ordered this online for our island countertop with some hesitation because you never know what exactly you're going to get with wood products, but this blew us away. This gives our space so much character and warmth. My husband and I are 100% satisfied with this piece.

Really lovely, fits right into our ski house’s vibes. Good value, I only wish I got a longer one. Paired nicely with some custom legs.

A truley beautiful piece of wood. Only downside, there is no way to order if you want more of a solid or variation in color. I would have preferred more variation, but am very happy

I read this in other reviews before I bought it, but the piece looked good when I was in the store. I made my desk and now there is a crack that goes down about half way (2 feet). I hope it doesn't get any bigger. My computer is on this desk so I need it to be stable. Love the look, but have to take off stars for the crack.

I purchased this to add to my sit stand desk frame and it met all of my expectations. The wood was well packaged and i thought just as nice looking as the photos. Don’t hesitate on this one, its a real beaut.

In short... I have 43 years of artisan craftsmanship under my belt. This was a purchase for a client of mine that was looking for a quick option to a top. The selection of lumber is low quality with checks in the end grain and foolish attempts at filling imperfections or cleat marks. Horrible concept of live edge done by a pattern cut of sap wood. This quick option took redoing the seams from a 16" split at a check, and refill of the chip outs with legitimate fill and scrapes. Just another company molesting the environment and producing garbage quality for a buck. Thank you for joining the cause. I assumed and absorbed the cost for my client on this one.

The countertop part of our island makeover turned out beautifully! The countertop was easy to cut and install. In fact, there are other Home Depot elements in the photo - the 12” cabinets we added to the back, the wood for the shelf I built for my wife’s Le Creuset pans, and the red paint.

Intended to use this as top of a sit-stand desk. Had potential to be a very nice for this purpose but unfortunately had a really ugly split that was seemingly addressed with over-oiling and sanding down. As you can see in the pictures it left a dark crack mark with lightened wood all around. Now I have to go through the hassle of repackaging and returning after waiting a long time for the delivery. What a hassle. Where was the quality control? Buyer beware!

This countertop is beautiful, it was easy to work with. My piece was used as is and not cut. I've gotten so many compliments on it. I only wish that more of this type of countertop was available in the store. This is a situation where you would want the most unique piece and there is no way to really do that. The piece I received was great, but I would have loved the opportunity to see other pieces and choose.

Love the look and sturdiness of countertop, but a deep crack quickly appeared from one edge towards the middle by roughly two feet. Crack is widest on top of counter, but visible underneath as well. Crack is within one board and feels dried out. Really dissapointed because it was exactly the look and size I needed.

Purchased this slab to be the table top for a new kitchen island. It took some time for the table to arrive (10 days) but it was worth the wait. I assembled the legs to ensure the piece would be counter height using 3/4" plumbers piping. Then I used 3/4" wood screws (2 per leg) to attach the base. No pre drilling was needed. I know became I pre drilled four screws. Then I tried some without pre drilling. No issue. You can tell it has been engineered if you look at the bottom. The top has a cohesive look though. It was darker than I thought but still nice. It is true to size and dense. It did not come with care instructions which I would have liked. I am going to use coasters and not cut on it. It can easily fit four stools under it. Overall, happy with it.

My wife was wanting to change out our island top to replace some broken tiles. Our buddy Jonny told us Home Depot had these great live-edge countertops that would add a lot of warmth to our kitchen. We ended up joining two of these together and finished them to really bring out the natural wood and can't be happier!

I am using this awesome Countertop as a desk in my office - I love the color of the wood - Some commented on the Liver edge being fake - Well whatever the Live edger is - It looks great to me. My wife comes into the office more and comments that she loves the desk. It has been three days. The desk is solid and smooth - I see no issues or defects and i have a lot of real-estate of space that i did not have before. The color of the wood is so natural i have not stained the wood but i have put on some mineral oil. Loving it.

As far as I know, "live edge" means a naturally rough edge in the sapwood, revealing the natural edge of the tree. It does not mean a man-made wavy cut that is rounded over perfectly with a router. This countertop is the latter. Was my countertop an aberration? No. I ordered two countertops and the "live edge" got exactly the same treatment on each one. One of the acacia countertops I ordered had nicely matched planks. The other top's matching left much to be desired. The "live edge" was, to me, phony and cheapened the product. If that doesn't bother you, then consider purchasing. I ended up cutting off the wavy edge and now have a very attractive perfectly rectangular countertop. See photo.

Although i received this beautiful piece of wood, it did not arrive looking like what is shown in the photo. It was much much darker and not nearly the blond color disbursement. I understand it is difficult to duplicate exactly what is found in the photo because it is made from actual trees. But because of the inability to maintain a particular color variation, i would suggest the company offer photos of actual materials to choose from in both unfinished and finished (oiled) wood as the colors can change dramatically. Great thing is I was able to return it to my local home depo and i purchased the companies standard butcher block counter top.

Beautiful piece of wood! Came quickly and in good shape. Packed really nice and safe! I wish there was an option to purchase it completely sealed. My husband got a drink ring on it the very first day! Ugh. But very satisfied. Wish I would have bought along time ago!!!

Beautiful countertop, rich colors. We used it as a countertop in our laundry room on top of a shelf we built. Very pleased and definitely recommend. Also it shipped quickly and arrived I damaged (which seems amazing for as heavy as it is!)

Table came just as shown and described. No flaws and very easy to drill into.

It is a beautiful piece of wood and perfect for our breakfast nook.

I absolutely love this countertop! I used it to extend my counter space in my tiny kitchen. I was a little nervous because so reviews were not so great, but I could not have been happier! As you can see from the pictures, I cut it in half and can fold it down when I don't need all of the space. It looks marvelous!!!

Counter arrived damaged 10 in crack on the top, all the way through. Two different times, spent a total of 55 min on hold trying to talk to a HD rep to discuss return, refund, or credit options. Wasn’t able to get through. Hoping a rep sees this post and offers assistance

Purchased this for a top to a refinished 1950s vanity and I am so happy!! It is beautiful. I wanted something unique not just the usual acrylic or granite. This piece is well built and beautiful. It was also nice and securely packaged. I would definately recommend!!

I used this to make a computer desk, purchased legs separately. Looks great, and easy to work with, sturdy. ...just perfect.
