They were very helpful. And price wise. It's make it easier when applying coats of paint.

Does the job perfectly. I just with they come in different sizes able to penetrate tighter places.. e.g rocking chairs.

These work really well applying stain - so much faster and less streaks like you can get with a brush. Only thing is that they are basically one time use.

These things are so much easier and better use for staining than rags. They have a sponge inside so you can squeeze a little or alot to control how much stain comes out. You can stain more area without going back to the can for more stain. I would still buy them if they were three times the price. I love these things. I also put them in Zipper plastic bags so I can re use them.

Just the ticket for a small project!

I used these to apply Minwax Wipe-On Poly (see my review of that), and they worked very well. No lint and just the right amount of absorption.

The staining pads made if very simple to apply and wipe the stain on the wood and made no mess at all. I highly recomend the pads for all your staining needs.

I won't use rags anymore.

Pads hold a good amount of stain very well without dripping.

I used these pads to gel stain my kitchen cabinets. It was much easier to put an even coat of stain on the doors. Once the pad was saturated I had to turn it over or use a clean pad.

This is a very good product, size makes it easy to apply any stain. I use this in my working with leather ,makes staining my projects such as purses,wallets and alike a breeze.

These pads really helped me on those days with heavy flow.

The pads worked good for the most part, the only issue I had with them was small fabric residue left over on some less than smooth parts of the wood. The wood wasn’t that rough, but the fabric was a problem because my next application was urethane and I had to make sure it was all gone.

Worked great for "flooding" stain on Sande plywood purchased at Home Depot. I built a closet organizer using three sheets of plywood and the staining pads made the stain application even and quick!

Perfect tool for staining an old rugged fence. Worked like a charm. Held up really well too. Did entire fence with one pad.

I had never used staining pads before but after using them, I will go back to cloth. Whether it's my technique or just the nature of the product,I found it difficult to control the amount of stain or to stain evenly.

Easy to use. Works well. Does not leave particles behind. Gives a smooth glossy finish.

We do a lot of painting around the house. We also like to stain with our woodworking projects. These cloths work exactly as expected. They aren't all the same size, and work just as well as shirts, but I'd rather not mess up my shirts, okay? There's a LOT of cloths in here. And they work great with stains. I took part of one pack for drying dishes and it works great for that as well. We also use them for cleaning excess paint on cans or on mess up spots.

These are my go to stain applicator. I love love love them. No fuzz or shredding happens while rubbing your stain across the wood surface. I highly recommend using this product.

I received a 4-lb bag of Painters Rags. The package contained several different sizes and textures. It had a mix of ribbed and thin weaved material. Some were heavy duty and some were thin and small. I personally don't have much need for the small thin material, however, I did use one of them to clean the screen on my cell phone since it was soft enough and would not scratch it.

So, to be clear, these rags are miscellaneous pieces from t-shirts that are not used for the actual shirts (discarded after the t-shirt is cut from the fabric). They range in size and are quite oddly shaped. If you need cloths for painting, these would do the job, but I don't think they are durable enough to go through the wash and be re-used. However, they are cheap and it does fit the intended purpose.

I put wipe on polyurethane on my desk with another brand that had loopier fabric and it was a mess. I resander and put on the wipe on polyurethane on with this brand and had no issues at all. I stored sponge in ziplock bag between coats and was able to reuse the sponge that day until my project was done. Luv this brand...
