I can't believe what I paid for this. It was cheaper than any other hardwood option I looked at and many laminate. I'm a 25 year old girl and installed it myself in my dining, living and bedroom. It has been about 6 months and it still looks great. I'm going for a transitional look with modern finishes and blonde floors so that it's both warm and modern. The hickory varies in color so much and brings a lot of warmth and character. So glad I went with this over dark hardwood.

The flooring is easy to install, but can splinter using a jigsaw for special cuts. Great product for the price.

We purchased this product because of the great price. As some reviewers have noted, the backing of the floor does seem to be a hard plastic and a bit cheaper than some other similar products. I installed this myself and the floor did go down very easily, we did not have a significant number of warped boards as some people reported. We have had the product in for about 3 weeks now, and with a dog it has still held up to dents and scratches. The wire brush texture is probably useful in hiding or preventing the minor scratches. People who come to the house love the look and so do we. Although we have to wait to see how it wears, so far so good. I would highly recommend this for anyone looking for an affordable product.

We installed this flooring on all of our bedrooms and offices. The floors were easy to install and very little unusable boards. We had all full pieces never any smaller pieces in the boxes. We purchased 35 boxes. We had them ship to store some did come in damaged but in Home Depot still no problems with the returns. The floor have added a real richness and warms to the room and seem to be very durable. Besides dusting them I use the Bruce hardwood floor spray about every 3 weeks . We were able to take our time and complete this with ease. Only tools really needed to put the floor in was a mallet, miter saw, level and the spacers for keeping correct distance from wall. You do need to add a underlayment but that was easy and order it right from Home Depot on line and had it delivered to the door for free. We added white quarter round. The threshold were done using and unfinished threshold and stained to match.

We are so pleased with our new flooring! For the price I did not know what to expect, but we were surprised with a floor that has a lot of variation and character. The rooms we installed the floor in required a floating floor and we wanted a floor that could survive our two dogs. This flooring allowed us to meet those requirements (the wire brushed surface should be very forgiving) and get the look and variation of natural hardwood. Installation was very simple and we were able to complete both room in a couple of days only installing in the evenings. I would recommend opening up several boxes at a time during installation. We found that some boxes contained a lot of light pieces, some a lot of dark, and some the same wood grain. By opening up a lot we were able to get the most natural look and not have repeating patterns.

We had this installed in our LR/DR and our office, approx 420 sq ft. I cannot attest to ease of installation, I paid someone to do it :). When I initially bought it and got a plank out and it was much darker than I expected. But once it was down, I fell in love with it. We used the underlayment w/ shiny silver on the one side, it definitely makes it cushy to walk on. It does still give you that hollow sound when walking on it, but at this point it doesn't bother me. If you have pets, I have 5 cats, be prepared to vacuum/dust a lot!! also, I put felt on the bottom of all my furniture so it wouldn't scratch the new floor. So far, nothing has scratched it. We will be buying more and putting it in our 3 bedrooms

Flooring has little to no polyurethane on the surface. Customer had guests over and there is now a thousand dents on the surface from high heels. and there not small dents, very deep. The so called 30 year warrentee is for defects out of the box. nothing is covered once its installed.

This flooring is a great buy for the price. The quality is good and easy to install. I installed about 800 sq ft on my whole first story to create a uniform, flowing floor. Packaging was good and resulted in very few damaged boards. Most locked together without a problem and the stubborn ones went in place after a few hits with a dead-blow hammer. I would highly suggest to do all your cutting outside as the composite sandwich creates a ton of dust when sawing. Also, invest in a good underlayment. Tooling used/required for a project of this scope: Miter chop saw for cutting to length Radial arm or table saw for ripping Jigsaw to cut out for registers and other obstructions Oscillating tool to cut under door jams Flat pry bars to remove base board Dead-blow hammer to tap boards together for a tight fit Pull bar to tapping boards when you get close to the wall Expansion gap spacers Measuring tape, combination and framing squares Light duty staple gun to hold the underlayment in place Dust mask and knee pads (highly recommend)

This floor is simply beautiful with a variation of light and dark browns along with knots and grains. I put this in my living room and dining room. I can't wait to be able to put it throughout my upstairs. This design is perfect for any style. I would sit and just look at it because I was so pleased!

We purchased 1700 sq feet and installed in our living room, dining room, 2 bedrooms and family room. It was very easy to install and there were only a few bad boards. It does scratch easily. Overall we are very happy with our choice.

I like the ease of installation, I am quite pleased with the look, has definitely met my expectations. This is still being installed, so don’t know about durability yet, but I would at present recommend this product.

Tried to patch some planks. New ones are slightly wider. Keep things standard!!!

We wanted to do use this for our entire house. We bought a pallet and several additional boxes. The boards were excellent, very unique, However, when we need more to finish our last room the boxes we bought (we returned some and got others) were very non descript and only had two long boards per box, very disappointing as they were nowhere near the quality we got when we made our original purchase

These are good quality boards for the price, but the locks are brittle. Two packages shipped to my home by FedEx had all the boards damaged. The locks were smashed on one side of the packages, as well as corners. The HD should have accounted for the bad handling by the shipper and cushioned the fragile items. Do not buy flooring in small quantities for delivery to your address. This situation does not positively reflect on the HD.

This flooring looks great and installs quickly. However, it does not appear to meet the manufacturer's claims of durability as it is easily scratched. Now that we have installed it we cannot return it and can't afford to back up and rip it out. Points for being GreenGuard Gold certified, but the low durability factor is troublesome, especially when considering the price. Note also that the edges are NOT beveled as the manufacturer claims, leading to a less convincing appearance.

The employees that assisted me with my purchase were extremely knowledgeable and helpful. The employees who assisted me with pickup and loading were also extremely helpful. The flooring was double boxed to help prevent damage. The entire process of purchase and pickup totally exceeded my expectations. Great job.

This floor looks pretty nice when installed, good variation in color. However, it’s very thin and feels hollow and fake when walked on. I’ve had much nicer, thicker laminated in the past. My least favorite thing is it scratches and damages easily, I can tell this will not last. I doubt it would stand up to a dog. Regretting this purchase.

Can even be used to patch flooring that isn’t this color or brand according to homeowner
