Power Rating on Motor is Wrong
Product spec sheets read it has a 12 amp motor. There is no way this vac has a 12A motor. My last Hoover vac weighs 4lbs more and has much more power with it's 12A motor. This new vac barely pulls the pile up on my area rugs. This vac is not as advertised.

It sucks. There isn't really anything note worthy to mention. I haven't felt like it does any more or less than more affordable vacuums. I wasn't notably impressed with any of the listed features It tries to sell you on. Save the money and go cheaper. It's a mediocre vacuum at best. Simply average at a higher cost.

Great vacuum but needs 2 changes.
This vacuum has great suction power. But----The brush bar on the bottom of the vacuum continues to spin when you are only using the hose with an attachment. Also this vacuum needs to come with a smaller brush attachment. The brush attachment that comes with it is very large. It would be great if a smaller brush attachment was also included.

Needed a new vacuum and the price was right.
It's okay, nothing more. The on/off switch is a button that seems a little cheap. It's loud. The vacuums fine and has 3 carpet levels along with bare floor. Over all i'd give it 3 stars .

Maybe worst pet vacuum ever!
Within a couple minutes of use the vacuum clogs. DIFFICULT TO CLEAR CLOGS. The hair catches in the bends at the base and hose. To clear the hose you need a long snake. To clear the base you need a screwdriver to remove 7 screws. Then you need a snake. It is unbelievable. I expect hair to occasionally get clogged, but the design is terrible. Cleaning the clogs takes 30+ minutes and tools. My stick broom cleans as well and takes about two minutes to clean. Do not buy this vacuum.

It vacums
Not as Good as the one I replaced, the cord is not retractable you have to wrap it up and down the handle. The suction is fine and it works, but not as user friendly.

I ordered 2 of these vacuums. One of them works...
I ordered 2 of these vacuums. One of them works great. One of them stopped working the first week of use. The connections to the power cord inside the vacuum failed and the wires came apart. Thus, the score of average.

Great cleaner
Replaced a 12 yr old Hoover Windtunnel with this one & the only thing missing is the light showing when there is no more dirt. However you can see what it removed in the dust cup. It's much lighter and easier to use on the steps. It's quieter then the old one but has a high pitched noise that is bearable.

Not worth the money
It clogs very easily. You have to empty it about every 6 feet. Not meant for dog hair unless they are short haired dogs. I have German Shepherds and it was useless. I vacuum every other day!!!! On hardwood floors!!!! Plastic bottom of bin broke off in 2 months.

Powerful, good features, but loud
Had it about 6 weeks now. Pros: The floor-level light is a nice old-fashioned touch. The 30 ft cord. Suction seems powerful - pickup is thorough. The canister is big. Cons: No retractable cord. It's not as easy to carry up the stairs as some models -- heavy and a bit awkward. Very loud, grindy sound. Squishy power button doesn't feel reliable and I hope it lasts. What was wrong with the switch? I have a bit of buyer's remorse.

This does a great job on the carpet but that is all.
Non of the attachments other than the crevice tool are not worth it. The turbo tool has flexible paddles not a brush so does nothing to clean upholstery. The dusting brush will not clean my lamp shade or dust the tables my swiffer duster works better.
This was supposed to be a good buy and I trusted the name Hoover but I would not recumend this unless all you want is a carpet cleaner
