I just had this fan installed. This fan looks amazing and is extremely stable. The lights are bright and it runs very quiet. I could not be more pleased. I was so pleasantly surprised that this fan was in my price range. Excellent buy!

We bought this Hampton Bay bronze/brown;walnut ceiling fan with light to replace an expiring fan with light during our remodel (thus the dusty glass in the photo). Very easy to install and the "new" push, slide and click fan blade system was once again easy to use. Fan is fairly quiet at low speed but gets noisier as the speeds increase however we're okay with that in this application - 4 star rating. The three included light bulbs are very bright and look nice with the clear glass shades.

Bought this for my daughter’s room that we’re redecorating, but made the mistake of turning it on. First impression based on appearances is that it very nice looking; I liked the wood color on the fan blades. It is simple yet elegant. However, when we turned the fan on, the motor made a loud buzz/hum. No matter what speed we tried, the noise was the same. I could even hear it from the next room. Then we made the mistake of turning the fan off, at which point the lights dimmed. Yes we have a dimmer switch and dimmable bulbs, but we only used the pull chain to stop the fan. The only way we could get the brightness back to its original state was to turn the light off and on again (by chain, not switch). At other times the light was just flickering and wouldn’t stay at full brightness no matter what we did. Its nice to look at, but that’s about it. I will be returning it.

Very easy to install

Best purchase ever. For one, the price was amazing!! We didn’t want to spend a lot of money on a fan, especially because we needed 3 of them. The fan works great. Very quiet and looks elegant and sophisticated in person. Pictures dont do justice. So easy to install. Took my husband less than 30 minutes to do it. I’m glad we went with this fan. If you’re looking for a nice fan that works great and looks good, this is it! Do it. You wont regret it.

So glad I made the purchase! It was a little bit of a challenge completing the install with a novice but the fan looks so sleek & stylish & is very smooth & quiet. Very happy with the purchase, I bought 2 black ones on sale, can’t beat the price, would buy again too!

Better than expected. Well designed. Love the look.

I bought 4 of these to match every room throughout my upstairs. My husband installed them, and said his only complaint was the way you had to install the fan blade brackets through the little hole in the light fixture. He thought that was stupid and a major pain. Other then that, they were a pretty easy installation, and they circulate alot of air. I normally keep them on medium, but my office fan had to be turned to low because I got chilly which never happens. Since I live in Florida, I run these around 9 months a year so I hope they last. The lighting is very bright as well. I chose to turn the fan blades so the brown/driftwood color shows since it matches my new floors I had installed (which were also from Home Depot). I also have some type of black in every room, whether a piece furniture or furniture pulls/handles, so I knew the fans would look great, and they do. I'm very happy with these fans so far.

Love the fan’s looks and finishes Hampton Bay offers. Very Quiet running fan. I actually bought 2 new fans at this time . Updating my house.

Overall, I am very satisfied with this ceiling fan. From the low price, easy install, quiet & powerful operation it is a good choice. My Mom wanted this for its hugger style design and increased ceiling clearance. Installation was a breeze with a bracket that allows the fan motor to hook on to allow you to make your electrical connections using only one person quickly and safely. The motor is quiet and the blades are balanced and move a lot of air.

This was quick and easy to put up compared to other ceiling fans.The first one took my son and I about 45 minutes, the second about 30 since we knew what we were doing. It also looks really good

Terrible! Super loud. Off balance and makes way too much noise. Not what I expected. I'm very disappointed

The fan is very well built and stylish. The lights provided are quite bright and give off a lot of light. On low speed you can not even hear it run except for the slight swish from the fan blades and on high speed the sound is very minimal. The only thing I would like to see added is that I have an older home built in the 70's and all of the ceiling boxes are plastic and not suitable to mount a fan from. I had to modify the mounting bracket (add some mounting holes) so I could mount the fan to the ceiling itself not just the box. Other than that, I love it.

Great quality, I installed three, one in each of my kids rooms and they love them! The clear glass shades gives them so much extra light in their rooms. It takes about two hours to install each because I had to remove the old fans before I put up the new.

Beautiful looking and quiet. Very satisfied. The only thing we didn't like were the bulbs that came with it. Easily swapped them out for ones we like.

Great value under $100! It’s super bright and makes my kids bedrooms look much bigger than when they were dimly lit from their old fans. I wouldn’t put it in a master bedroom because it’s pretty simple, but great for kids rooms/guest rooms!

I have purchased both the he black and white. The black is noisier than other fans, but I have three kids so I barely notice. The white however is just extremely poor quality!! The ring around the top is a completely different shade of white and stands out. I had purchased 3 white fans and one of the rings had brownish flakes in the plastic. I was extremely disappointed in the white!! I would not recommend the white to anyone.

Only gave 4 sgars cause the plastic ring that goes around the top, against the ceiling looks a little cheap and a slightly different shade of white. Everything else was great.

I love this fan because it's a hugger & they're hard to find. I wanted something that was bright enough to read by, & that's why I chose this one with the three bulbs. It is totally bright enough! And I like the fact that it had the reversible blades, which are easy to snap on & off (according to my electrician). I was worried it would be too big since I was replacing a 48 in fan & our dining room is only 9 x 12, however It's a perfect fit & it doesn't hang too low over the dining room table. It's also very quiet. I'm very happy with this fan and would recommend it.

I ordered two of these a month ago. They were easy to install. Look great and no noise either.

I am really glad that I purchased a ceiling fan it really add to my living room I love it is a wonderful piece is very quiet and the light is so bright you probably will have to buy different lightbulbs to dimmet lights.

I literally installed 2 of these in under 1 hour. They designed it VERY well and make it so easy for most homeowners to install. You do have to be careful and know if your box is fan rated.. Some boxes are made for a 1 lb light and not a moving fan. You can kind of tell by how secure it is, if it's secured to a joist, if the metal jbox is thick, etc. With both fans, I did run into problems w the screws.. They were not correctly predrilled and the screws had a lot of problems being removed or installed. It slowed down my project by a couple minutes but it was mostly frustrating. Had to use other tools to get it off.

Really love this item! It's a perfect match with my room. The lights are bright the fan blades are more than sufficient for the room size. My husband calls it the helicopter because it puts out so much air. It's quiet though. I highly recommend this item.
