Ceiling fan
I think this is the first Home Depot purchase I have been unhappy with in many years. I gave it 2 stars because it is an attractive fan and easy to install but it is very noisy. The directions say to let it run for 24 hours to work any noises out so we ran it constantly for that timeframe. It is the motor making the noise. Disappointing because we really liked the fan.

We are sorry to hear that you are having this issue. Most noise issues can be attributed to loose parts that cause vibration and present as a humming noise. Please make sure that all parts are correctly installed. Also, if connected to a switch, the switch may be causing the humming sound by limiting the power getting to the fan. Please call Hampton Bay customer service at 1-855-HD-HAMPTON (1-855-434-2678) and one of the team members will be able to get more information to help troubleshoot and resolve the issue.

So loud!!
This fan looks so nice but oh my goodness it is so loud. Id love to return it for a different one but I bought it 9 months ago so the return period is over. It has this super loud motor hum. I have taken it down and reinstalled it multiple times and it still makes the noise. It is just the sound the motor makes. Very nice fan but the noise just ruins it, unfortunately.

So quiet looks great They really modernized our rooms. Love that bulbs can be changed easily. It was easy to install.

Color
The blades of the fan are not white. They are more of an almond color and do not match the white base. Will have to return.

We are sorry to hear that you had this issue. Please note that the white blades appearance can be affected by the lighting temperature of the room. If using warm light, the blades will appear to have a yellow tone due to the light's color temperature.

I bought two of these, very pleased overall! Installation was easy, instructions were complete and easy to follow. Neither fan wobbles at all, even on high speed. Best of all, they move a lot of air, and they look great!
