I waited to write a review to give this time to be walked on. I installed this flooring last November in our entry and library. I'm a female with right arm/hand weakness so I thought it would be useful to add my experience installing this. It can be a challenge to get the click lock perfectly aligned. Some of the edges were not perfect, so they didn't want to meet up with the groove. Use a mallet and wedge each time down the side to be sure they are tightly seamed (don't hit the tongue, use the edge above it). You will likely need to mallet the short seam on the surface where it meets the previous board every time. When cutting the end pieces, use a very sharp blade to score in the front side, then snap back. Cutting through the product for floor vents was VERY hard but I found that getting a small amount removed from the scored cut opening and then using some flat, wide-nosed pliers to bend the vinyl at the cut enabled me to get a clean line and a nice, cosmetic cut-out for the vent cover to set in. It's been 10 months since I finished it and there are still no flaws or issues. It's gorgeous, quiet and lovely to walk on. I am going to install this in two more rooms now that I'm satisfied with it's look and quality. I just wish that at this price point there wouldn't have been flaws with some of the pieces.

I just recently started renovating my home and changed from carpeting to this beautiful laminate vinyl plank flooring. I love the coloring and how it warms up in light. My son installed it for me and he said it was really nice to work with and easy to install. My floors were not exactly even all over but the planks were very forgiving. We were able to use the entire contents of the box as none of the pieces were damaged. It cleans up so easily. I will be using this flooring throughout my home. The molding was also purchased through Home Depot. Very happy with that too.

I had absolutely no flooring experience coming into this, and I still managed to do a good job with it. It has a bit of a learning curve to it, finding that slight angle to connect your next piece, and butting it against the piece to its side so both grooves on each side connect properly, but once you get it, it goes pretty quick. I highly recommend buying the install kit (probably sold in the same aisle), it's inexpensive and makes the job much easier. The flooring looks great in the room, and we've already spilled and dropped things on it several times (it's the kitchen floor.), and it's holding up to its "Lifeproof" name. Also, I've seen many how-to's saying the cut your planks by scouring them with a razor blade, then snapping them in half. I had a very difficult time doing it this way, even with a new blade, I ended up only doing it in situations where I had to. Otherwise, I used my chop saw with a normal wood blade. It made fairly smooth cuts, and even if they weren't, you hide your cut ends under molding anyway. All in all, I think it's one of the least expensive and DIY options for a really good looking floor solution. With the planks, materials, and tools, I did about 120 sq. ft. floor for about $400. Also, know that any type of matching trim molding (T, reducer, stair nose) is more than likely not sold at the store. I wasn't told this and had to wait a week before I could wrap up the project with them.

Very nice looking flooring. Easy to assemble, use a wood block and rubber mallet to get joints tight. Installed this over 1/4 inch plywood underlayment. Floating floor makes it easy to adjust when starting to lay it out. Installed it on 7/8/19, seems durable enough to last many years.

Durable and easy to install. However, the instructions are the box fail to mention if you need an underlay. Your competitor, LifeLock provides details about all the material you will need. This is very important especially when there is a warranty involved.

It went in very easy. And it looks great.

This product supposedly has random patterns because they use a double length pattern that gets cut unevenly. However, they don't rotate or flip and they only have 4 patterns. It doesn't look like a double length pattern, it looks like they put all the identifiable features sight in the middle of the pattern so they always look the same. You may as well have only 4 identical boards. (you want at least 8 patterns)I do not recommend this product for areas larger than 80 square feet

We installed 1100 sq ft of this product. It was simple enough to install once we got through our learning curve on the first few boxes. The hardest part is getting it started. You need a straight wall or at least a straight line and it is difficult to get it locked tight on the first few rows when you are trying to tap it together and keep it straight at the same time. By the last few boxes we were flying across the floors.

Was easy to install. The only drawback is that when you hammer it too much or the tapping block is hit at an angle, it will chip the top of the plank.

The easiest floor you'll ever install. Excellent wear features, easy to clean, and really nice looking. This is the third floating floor I've installed. Price is right too.

The floor end result looks amazing but the planks dont click and lock as easily as you would think. It took some time to learn how to do it properly and we had to hammer in each seam for a tight fit. Luckily the boards are easy to score/cut with a utility knife. We did need a hand saw for cutting planks around vents.

I had the flooring installed by a professional but he said it was easy to install and is a very good product. I love the color and the price was very reasonable

scratches very easy. we had scratches in the floor prior to instalation being completed.

This is an awesome product. It looks just like the picture on the Home Depot website. You can see the tint of white through the gray, but it's very subtle and blends in with the gray grain. I would recommend this. I will say that the one of the pictures I took looks a lot lighter and the white is showing throw in the photo that I took more than they do in real life. Had I seen the pictures I took on my iPhone I wouldn't have purchased this as there is more much white. Good thing I am not the photographer. lol I will say that the flooring is gray and doesn't have a touch of brown like some.

It is beautiful easy to install and the color is perfect

I love how this floor looks but it scratches so easily. We purchased this about 6 months ago, installed about 5 months ago and this floor looks like it has been walked on by a truck instead of a family.

Easy to install. Color makes the room brighter

I only gave this product a 4 star instead of 5 due to the fact that the day after I installed it properly the sun was shining on it and it lifted due to heat. I had to install a set of blinds on the sliding door and now have to monitor the floor so that sun does not shine on it and cause it to lift again. If you get this flooring do not install it in an area that would get sunlight on it from the outside. Otherwise I love the fit and finish. Love the waterproof properties of it.You do have to watch as this product will scratch if you slide furniture across it. Yep I had to go buy felt for the bottoms of all kitchen furniture.

This is the second time I have used this flooring, its very easy to install, it flows over concrete floor nicely, looks great and holds up great. We have hardwood floors in our home but decided to use this in our laundry room and it blended well.

Compared to installing wood laminate flooring, this vinyl locking plank is similar. However, the short sides have to be locked by pounding it with a mallet. It is more difficult to align these ends which make for difficult laying further down the next row. If it isn't straight on those short ends it's nearly impossible to keep everything clicking properly to keep a water tight seal. I installed this in my bathroom. It looks gorgeous but as soon as I moved my washing machine and dryer in, I had permanentd deep scratches on the floors. My washer and dryer are very light. This should not have happened. I'm afraid to install this in the two bedrooms adjacent to this bathroom in fear that they will be scratched up in months.

We went from drab carpet to a fantastic floor. Easy to install. Great quality. I would recommend this product.

Just finished installing 520 square feet and it's beautiful. I have never done anything like this before and it was not difficult at all. I highly recommend watching several different videos to see how different professionals do this as they will give you little tips that ensure a perfect job. I installed flooring in two bedrooms, 2 closets, small hallway, a bathroom, and a laundry room and I didn't want to use transitions from room to room. If you don't want transitions, you'll end up having to work backwards in some places, but there are videos showing you how to do this. When a plank is properly clicked into place, each edge should be perfectly smooth. If it isn't then the plank isn't properly seated. Don't go on until it is perfect or you'll have problems with the boards coming apart.

This review is based on looks and ease of install only. It has only been down a couple of days so I cannot speak to wearability. That said, this floor was such a great choice for the 5x6 full bath. I installed directly over the existing ceramic tile, and the product is thick enough that the grout lines do not photogragh through. I installed it myself, and have never diy'd floor before. It's pretty easy but it doesn't click as easy as it does for those on the installation videos! Takes a bit of elbow grease. The look is beautiful and I am in love with how it turned out! So much so that I think I'm going to tackle the master bath next! Great product, especially for the price!

You might like it; it might drive you crazy. This flooring overall is decent. Whether or not you would want to buy it is heavily dependent on your personality/eye for detail. I will caveat my review by admitting I have high attention to detail and I'm also a woodworker, so take my opinion with a grain of salt. I have also laid several other LVP floors before, so I am comparing this product to others I have used. Pros: - The texture of the flooring is very nice, in my opinion. It has some 'milling' marks and appears to be hand scraped in some places. The overall finish is nice and smooth, though. The texture was one of the most attractive features for my wife and I. - The click lock design allows for very easy installation and the pieces interlock very well. In the approximately 25 boxes that I've laid so far, I've only come across one plank that had minor damage to the tongue, and even that piece was still very usable. Cons: - The number of different styles of plank is very limited. I began to became familiar with different types of planks very quickly. I even gave a name to each ("mirrored grain", "smudge", "long knot", "filled knot", and the very elusive "clear grain"). This leads to A LOT of repetition of design and pieces of flooring. One of the primary goals in laying LVP flooring is to keep "like" pieces separated from each other so that the repeated pattern on the floor doesn't catch your eye. With this product, that goal is IMPOSSIBLE. You will drive yourself crazy trying to avoid pattern repetition. Even minimizing it is very very challenging. I estimate that the simple task of choosing the next piece to lay took about 1-2 minutes per piece, which doesn't sound like much but drastically increases the installation time. - Many many of the pieces have the same design REPEATED ON THE SAME PLANK. See pictures for three examples. I wish these pieces were an anomaly, but unfortunately they are very very common. All that being said, if you are a 'high attention to detail' type of person, this flooring will likely drive you crazy like it did for me. Unfortunately, we were already committed to this product once I realized its downfalls. (and in the end it's just a floor, so I tried not to get too bent out of shape about it) If the pattern repetition issue wouldn't bother you, then you will probably be very satisfied with it. If you do decide to buy this product, I recommend opening at least three different boxes and laying out 3-4 pieces from each box as close to your work area as possible, oriented in the same direction as the floor will be laid. This will help you identify which piece could be laid next without being too much of a repeat. Also, be strategic about which piece you use at the end of your run to cut off a repeating pattern (the ones that have the same design twice on the plank of flooring). Finally, I recommend reviewing some of the videos on YT by "So that's how you do that" regarding laying laminate and LVP. Time will tell if the flooring will hold up to wear and tear. That's the true test of most products, but especially flooring.
