I really like this rug BUT the smell of chemicals after opening was horrible. I have been trying to air my rug out for a month now with no success. It's still outside and I have no idea what to do at this point. Any suggestions?

Carpet was nice and soft on our feet. Looks great in our renovated room!

The design is beautiful. The only thing I wish is that it was more cushioned. I may end up buying a pad for underneath. The rug is very soft and looks great.

Very happy with purchase. It is very fluffy and soft , color is exactly as describe.

Beautiful rug and great price (cheaper than other places I was looking at)! Didn’t think to look at Home Depot for stylish rugs but it worked out great. It slides on hardwood floors so you’ll need a rug gripper, which also adds more cushion (plus!)

Definitely not high quality But is it soft enough for the family room

The rug came to me with stains on it as well as being very dirty. I had to return it and now am without a rug because it is out of stock to reorder. Very disappointed

This carpet is super soft and a simple neutral design that goes with just about anything. The only issue I have is that it sheds. There are sparkling fibers on our clothes after sitting/lying on it. Hopefully this will go away with time and multiple vacuuming.

Love this rug! I bought the 9x12 and it’s huge ! For the price you cannot beat it ! I highly suggest this rug !

The gray is taupe not dark gray had to return because it looked brown next to my new gray furniture

LOVE this rug! Not the best quality in the world, but for the price, it’s great. It is more shaggy than the picture shows, but that’s what I was hoping for.

We were thrilled when this was delivered, and may I say - the delivery person carried the box right to our front door and offered to carry it inside for us - how wonderful, as it is HEAVY. We were excited to open the package, which was nicely wrapped, by the way, and when we rolled it out, we were very pleased. The rug is HUGE, fluffy, and very pretty. Our adult son told us he doesn't like the trellis pattern, but we do, so if you think it looks good on the website, it looks so much prettier in person! We actually contemplated putting it in several rooms - the dining room (too shaggy for in there, we decided), the living room (it lived there for a month - very warm and cozy), before we settled on the bedroom - wow! I totally recommend this rug. It's big and high quality and a lovely shade of gray and warm and soft. Excellent!

We were looking for a rug for our playroom that would be soft for any kids bumping around, yet would be easy to clean. A lot of the "shag" rugs we looked at had instructions not to use a strong vacuum to it. And for a rug in the playroom, vacuuming is a must! I've used the vacuum on this rug a few times and no problem at all. We haven't had any spills yet, but since this is made of microfiber, I assume it will spot clean easily as well, so I don't worry that it is a light color. The pattern is stylish enough yet I don't feel will be out of style in a few years like chevron will be. And for the size of the rug, you can't beat the price. I expect this rug will hold up for a lot of kid play. Also, I highly recommend putting a rug pad under this rug. Prevents slippage and adds even more comfort to the rug!

Very soft rug but take into consideration this is "shag" so the piles aren't tightly together which makes it difficult to vacuum. I used my regular vacuum in hard floor setting so the brush is not activated and it worked fine. I wouldn't put in an area that requires constant vacuuming as the piles might wear out fast. The color is really nice and neutral so it goes well with any décor. The rug is pretty big, but if you're not putting furniture to hold it down, you'll need the anti-slip or it will move. I have my bed on part of it so it holds it down.

I was looking for a mostly white rug with a gray accent. This rug is super soft and thick. I put it on the tile floor in my master bath and it goes perfect with gray walls and white trim. The white color is a very stark/clean white which is what I was looking for instead of an off-white or cream color.

The keyword in this item description is “shag.” It is definitely a soft and fluffy rug, not great for all situations, but perfect for some. Our perfect use is in our “kids room.” It is great for our young children (and their cousins and friends) to lie, play, and crawl on in comfort. And we love it because it looks great in that centrally-located room that all our guests see as soon as they walk in our front door. The carpet is not easily vacuumed, so we just shake it outside once in a while…easy to do with a 5x7 rug.
