I just got this installed today. My electrician was behind due to the tornadoes we had here in KY. So far, I am so excited about this fan.

great fan. Three blade fans move the most air. Replacing older fan can be a problem only if the junction box is too small to contain the new wireless module. Need longer screws to attach the bracket to the electrical junction box where the box is recessed into the ceiling. Screw slots, not holes would be nice on the electrical/mounting bracket cover. Three arms and hands would help.

I purchased two fans in December and had them professionally installed by an electrician. Although the remote is great and the fan is relatively quiet at its max speed, there are issues with this fan/fixture that I wish I’d read prior to purchase. The level of brightness is significantly lacking, I admire that they are LED, but it’s insufficient. The lights are constantly flashing ever 5 -10 minutes which I’ve recently discovered is a common issue experienced by other due to faulty receivers. Extremely frustrating to say the least as even if/when I receive the parts from Hunter, I will still have to pay an electrician to complete the re-install.

Easy to install. Quiet operation. Really moves the air.

I bought this fan to replace a Hunter fan that had run continuously in the master bedroom for fifteen years but had become noisy. The Sentinel was easy to install and looks great but the motor is loud. There is a distinct motor hum at all speeds and in both directions. It moves a lot of air and the remote control is nice but, overall, unacceptably loud.

This fan was very disappointing. Operates intermittently. I cross my fingers every day to hope the light turns on with the push of the remote.

The only positive thing I can say about this fan is that it is attractive. however it was difficult and timely to install, the light is not bright at all, and the worst part is that it just does not move air, period. also the downrod that was advertised was not included. It does include a very small downrod that was about an inch but definitely not a 3-in down rod. So I'm going to have to return it. I expected a lot more from this brand I don't understand how Hunter can make a fan that spins but does not cool. And yes, I did flip the switch to make sure it wasn't on winter mode. save yourself much hassle and do not buy this fan.

Had this installed by a licensed electrician a few days ago and am extremely disappointed in this fan's performance. We could live with the slight humming noise if only this fan did what it's supposed to do - MOVE THE AIR! We didn't expect that it would need to be run on high just to feel some air movement in the room.

I love the look of the fan and it produces a good amount of wind. The lights are SO dim though. I almost couldn’t tell it was on. I’m assuming I can change out the lights though.

Very happy with this fan. It cools well and is very quiet. Having 3 blades lessens noise and provides a good breeze. Its modern design fits nicely with the bedroom decor. Great purchase!

Very quiet and efficient.

The lighting is pretty dim even with 75 watt led lights. The fan starts to make a noise when on the 3rd setting. There is no control to change light setting.

I like the fan. very quiet. I am less pleased with the light. it comes with two bulbs that do not distribute light evenly and they are underpowered. Would have been better to have a solid state LED built in that evenly lights and can be increased in light output

I am very disappointed in this ceiling fan. Firstly, the lighting is very dim. I expected more from LED lighting. I am going to have to replace the light bulbs with something that provides better lighting. Secondly, the light flickers on and off. If I had not thrown away the box, I would return this ceiling fan. I am very disappointed. It was expensive.

Fan was easy to install and is very quite. No motor noise at any speed. Quite enough you only hear air moving on high (speed #3). Only issue I worry about long term is sometimes the light with turn off for a second then back on. Also dimming feature doesn't respond well when trying to brighten the light form a low dim setting.

Looks very sharp in the room

If you are also needing a down rod (more than the two inch one included), I wouldn't recommend this color as they do not have matching down rod's in brushed slate. Ended up returning this fan and purchased a the brushed nickel since there was a matching down rod. As far as the product itself, it's not bad but certainly doesn't feel like it's worth the price I paid. There are high-medium-low settings but the low is really low and the medium is pretty low as well or at least more than I'd prefer. Moreover, I had some barriers with install and when we contacted the company to troubleshoot they said that the instructions are printed wrong. Can't say I'd recommend a Hunter fan.

The light is so incredibly dim, it is extremely disappointing

The remote doesn't match the color of the fan. I don't understand why. The provided bulbs are not bright enough. The cover that should fit flush to the ceiling only has two screws holding it in and sits on a slant. Other than those gripes, it works fine. Installation was fairly easy. I like the simplistic look of it.

Looks good in the room where it was placed. The fan has wifi and remote control, which took a little longer to install. Gone are the days of the hanging chains to turn on or off. The fan is quiet and does a good job circulating the air.

Love the look of this fan! Install was fairly simple but takes 2 people. Has a modern, rustic, industrial feel.

Like the appearance and operation. The 2 inch down rod is a little short.
