Just bought it and used it immediately on some oak firewood. Split it with ease! I know other products are rated as better overall but for the price cant beat the Husky

I am picky about the handle, there were a few with knots and twisted grain but I found several in the bay with good straight grain. This axe has the perfect splitting weight and wedge cut for splitting small and large rounds alike without being overly tiring. My splitting maul was virtually unused after getting this axe. I Definitely recommend and will buy again for the cabin.

Awesome axe, excellent grip, very well balance, it is an excellent product

This is a great axe with two minor flaws. The first is the blade hardness. I once hammered in a wedge on a wood split, then used this axe to split the inside. It glanced the wedge, and that took an enormous chunk out of the blade, about one inch long. Clearly the wedge was made of much harder steel, as it didn't have a mark on it. Second, this axe is great to use itself as a wedge with a sledge hammer. Again, the metal is soft. Having gone through several weeks of log splitting, the back of the axe looks like a melted candle. This also started to cause the back surface of the wood handle to split off of the main handle. This is minor, and can be fixed with glue and a c-clamp, but speaks to this axe having a fairly limited shelf life. I enjoy working with it, but it looks like it's been through a war after just one season.

Lasted less than week chopping wood before the handle cracked.

Great axe for its price better than any ove usef chopped my xmas tree with it and i love the wood handle with the added grip on the handle 10/10

Perfect and extremely handy.

Upon first use the bottom of the axe dented in. Poor quality would not reccomend.

The handle broke off the head on the first day that I used it. Perhaps it was a lemon, but I wouldn't purchase it again. Stick to fiberglass handles.

Very good looking ax and it holds well in my hands when swinging. Like it so far.Could have been a little sharper when bought initially from store.
