I was replacing ceiling fan blades in gazebo when I realized they were screwed in with something I've never seen or used. Went to my local HomeDepot where they put me in wth the "tork"

this was much easier to use to install some equipment in a tight place than my ratchet bit set came with all the sizes I need to finish

The tool work great despite its small compact size. it was easier to use that having to go get a ratchet, a socket, and a torx bit.

worked well Its a good tool and sufficient for taking apart a rigid battery pack. The bits are about 1 5/8 " long to 2 inches long. The tool it's self is 4 1/2 X1 1/2 X 1 " I removed 8 fairly tight screws with out any trouble. This is a tamper proof torx. It has holes in the end of the torx bits , but can be used for regular torx also.

Works great, well built, recommended! Tamperproof Torx T9, 10, 15, 20, 25, 27, 30, 40.

Needed this particular hex star key for taking off a Whirlpool fridge door. Please note this torx set is different than a regular hex key set- note the picture in my review. Product worked well and can be adjusted/taken apart to get one particular key if need be with a hex key on the side and a screw.

Needed this tool to take apart a battery pack for my Makita drill. Was not familiar with the screws that held it together. I guessed that they were either Star or Torx. Talked to a tool rep who happened to be in the store and he explained the difference. A torx tool has a hollow center that fits over a point inside of the screw you are working on. They fit perfectly!

I needed a Torx bit that had the hole in the middle. There weren't any bit sets available so I had to buy this tool. Got the job done.

Words cannot describe my hatred of "tamper resistant" fasteners when I need to take something apart. In general, if I'm working on Torx screws, I'd rather use a standard screwdriver handle format, or cordless drill/driver with Torx bits; it's just faster and easier. But this tool is perfect for those rare cases when I encounter those "tamper resistant" Torx screws. It doesn't take up much space in the toolbox, and it has a bunch of sizes, and it's not too expensive, which is what you want for a tool you don't need to use very often.

Keys are way to short, and cannot be removed. Unneeded keys keep swinging out of body and getting in the way. Body is large, obstructing rotation of tool. Overall, this tool is USELESS for automotive applications. Don't cheap out, like I did...get a set of individual torx security keys 5 inches long or better!
