This socket could’ve saved me 2 days of time and effort. I went to the store to buy one and was very skeptical that it could catch a rounded bolt head. I was immediately proved wrong on my first attempt of removing the bolt. I definitely recommend having this in your tool box at all times.

I had 2 stripped bolts on my alternator, I was able to remove these with ease.

I’m not sure why the review has to be a minimum of 50 characters. They do not work as they are intended for. They are an expensive gag gift to give to a buddy. They make the bolt worse than it was before. Find something different.

Did not work for me. I think the dual directional means it doesn’t grab as good as the other kinds. I did get the bolt loose finally, but I used a different bolt extractor, not this one. So frustrating lol.

Had a nut that was stripped out and rounded The extrusion socket worked just like it said and I was able to get it out quickly

3 stars. The extractors work okay, but the adapter broke on the first use. You really have to go down a size and hammer the socket on, but the adapters can't handle the torque required to remove a stuck bolt.

I purchased this set and the SAE set. They performed ok but I used a set from another manufacturer that seemed to have more "bite" to help remove a stuck bolt.

Worked very well, although I snapped one of three bolt heads off - not the fault of the tool.

These were instrumental in getting some rusted bolts off of a catalytic converter. I wasted 30 minutes trying to do it with conventional sockets. As soon as I tried these I was able to get the bolts loose immediately.

Didn’t do what they claimed to be able to do. Teeth didn’t grip bolts and only rounded the bolts more.
