This product is designed for in-door installation, and requires an adapter kit for walls. It’s bulky, and not an easy install, that is if you have the adapter kit available to you.

Easy to install with good template and instructions. Good cold weather/wind protection. Live at the mouth of a canyon with regular morning cold wind, so far it has performed great.

The door is easy for my pet to use and it lets no drafty air come in!

This doggie door is great for our Gikden Retriever. Never had one before, easy to install and it’s very insulating which is important to us. I’d definitely buy it again, strongly recommend!!

Easy install! Installed in a metal exterior door. Used an air powered metal saw. Unhinged door and placed on sawhorses. Measured and marked off template on both sides of door. Parts lined up perfectly. Used white caulk to finish gaps in door panel. Meets my expectations in every way.

Had the same Ruff Weather Pet Door For 15 Plus Years My 96 Pound Shepherd Husky used It For 10 Plus Years Till She Died 6 Years Ago My Siberian Husky Has The Privilege Of A New One Now Because After 5 Years The Original One Needed To Be Replaced Easy Install, Same Size Just Removed The Old One & Stuck The New One In The Same Hole In My Door Done & Done ..! It’s Great To Find The Same Company Still In Business That Made It Possible Thanks To Ideal Pet Products & Home Depot Y’all Made It Easy For Me & My Pooch Ron

My second one. The first lasted 21 years

Dog started using door instantly. No draft from outside. Very satisfied.

Installation in wall was a pain. Threading 9" screws through insulation was hard to line up connections and keep insulation out of threads. Needs trimable plastic tubes to provide a clear link.

Love the double flap to protect against our high winds and bugs

Easy to install, flaps don’t always fall into place when th Ed dogs use it, otherwise it works great

Awesome so far. Super easy to install once the door was cut. Plenty big enough for our GSD and also easy enough for our Frenchie to go in and out of. Seals well and is super quiet compared to our last doggy door. Would 100% recommend!

Quite easy to install. Very good. Now if I can just get the dog to use it.
