This is a great bench. We stained it too match the table we bought from Home Depot. The only problem is the bench is a little too long to fit under the table legs, but that is no fault of the furniture.

Delighted with Value and Ease of assembly. Bench was sturdy and ready for finishing. I used a tack cloth and stained. It was exactly what I wanted and a value for the price paid.

This product is high quality, smooth yet unfinished wood. Exactly as described and easy to assemble. Very sturdy and perfect for use in our small mudroom (like a piano bench!). I definitely recommend this, especially at this price point. We may eventually stain it or paint it, but it's cute as is, too.

I am very happy with this bench. It is the perfect, smaller size to fit under the window. I painted mine, prior to assembly. It was easy to assemble by myself (I happened to have the perfect height box to support the bottom shelf while I was screwing in the bolts). Seems sturdy, and I found a cushion for it that works well. The hardware was missing from the box, but I called the manufacturer and they promptly shipped me the needed hardware.

Very well made sturdy bench. I painted legs white and stained the top for farmhouse style bench and looks amazing! Exactly what I wanted for less than I would have spent elsewhere. Highly recommend

Don't hesitate! I purchased based on previous reviews! They were dead on. This is a heavy hard wood piece of furniture. It was easy to put together and looks beautiful. We stained it with an ebony stain and a couple of coats of semi-gloss polyeurathane and could not be happier with the outcome.

I like the bench style and it seems pretty sturdy. I'd recommend it. It's made in Vietnam. The wood already comes sanded, so I didn't sand it again. I used minwax espresso on the top and painted the legs. I've only had the bench for a few days so I can't attest to how well it holds up.

This bench is solid & sturdy. It is very smooth. I didn't need to sand it before finishing. The quality far exceeds what I was expecting for the price.

I recently had my antique dining table refinished and I was on the hunt for new seating options to go along with the table. I found the perfect chairs, however, most of the benches that I came across were either too big or too expensive. Fortunately, this bench ticked off most of my checklist; it was inexpensive, the correct size and it allowed me to paint it out in a accent color of my choice, which was an added bonus! I was a bit nervous that the weight capacity was listed as 250 pounds (as we would typically have a couple of adults sitting on it), but the bench is much sturdier than I expected and it seems to do just fine under the weight of two grown-ups. The product arrived almost ready for immediate painting, but I did give it a light sanding before I applied one coat of primer and two coats of paint. Assembly took maybe 10 minutes. The finished product turned out great and I couldn't be more pleased! I'm very happy that I went the DIY route and chose this bench over several other more expensive, pre-finished ones that I found. A great bench at an affordable price--you won't be disappointed!

It is very solid. The description said unfinished but the picture shows it with a pale white tint, but it is unfinished pine.

Nicer than I expected from it's very reasonable price. Just got it and put it together yesterday. Actually WAS easy to assemble though it would have been nice to have instructions included. Seems very sturdy. Thought I'd have to paint it, but it is actually very very smooth and does not need finishing. Slightly wobbly but may have been assembled poorly by me.

I could not have made such a quality bench at this price. It’s perfect for the mudroom entryway for either for putting on or removing boots, shoes, etc. I also use it as a place to lay groceries when I have several bags to bring in from the car. The smooth finish will make either clear coat or paint easy to apply. Beautiful Piece.

The order came in a day early, was packaged properly, easy to pick up at store and exactly what I ordered.

The bench came with chips and notches in the seat and two screws were missing….I AM NEVER ORDERING FROM HOME DEPOT AGAIN

LOVE THIS PRODUCT! Actually I have ordered several pieces from this company. They make a quality product made of REAL WOOD, not that cheap particle board crap. Easy to put together, and I get my pieces in "Unfinished " as I like a project, so I stain them myself. I would highly recommend their products!! U won't be disappointed!
